TvC Grab Range Tier Chart

Rain all you want lol I was killing two birds with one stone but you have a point .

getting over 30k off of it meterless is more than enough to make that the best grab in the game.

OH if we are going to put grabs in to combos then I vote franks super command grab since you can infinite it making that the best in the game. :3

So your the jokeboxproduction guy, haha I was like who is this mysterious guy.

I think you were like who this scrub :<

What?

I don’t recall saying anything like that but I may have. I usually just call out people who think they are super good when they are not. Then I try to give them advice.

You never said it but if your anything like me you probably said something under your breath lol. SUB TO ME FOR SOME TVC VIDS SUPPORT THE TVCTUBERS.

Whut

I guess this list doesn’t include grab’s that can be extended upon. Zero’s grab range is better when using C version of his command dash, right as you touch the ground and do a grab while crossing up your opponent. Then there is Lightan’s launcher to command grab/normal grab, the launcher help’s extend the grab range.

Lightan is a giant so his range is already good to start with. Zero command dash to grab is nifty but it doesn’t extended his range believe it or not just makes it confusing to tech.

late to this thread, but how do you quantify throw “priority”?

Because “priority” as a term means nothing when speaking in absolutes (like hitbox size, active frames, etc)

Dori you are right sir. Rolls grab range is small and beats out alot of shit.

I had a look into this as well (only the capcom side). My order was

44 Gold lightan
30 PTX
17 Souki
16 VJoe
12 Roll
9 Chun, Morigan, Saki, Zero, Ryu
8 Alex, Batsu, Megaman
7 Frank

Number refer to the number of frames you can hold back with Ryu and still be thrown after getting as close as possible in the corner.

A different ranking was as follows.
2 Morrigan Vjoe
7 Megaman
9 Ryu
10 Batsu
11 Zero
13 Frank
14 Chun
15 Souki
16 Roll
17 Alex
24 Saki

This refers to the number of frames you have to hold back for the above character in order to get out of Ryu’s f+C range. Obviously hitbox and backwalk speed will both affect this number.

No difference in forward+C versus back+C found.

Cool beans

i know someone else said it already, but…what!? vids or it didnt happen.

I saw it at Evo during the team tourney, it is legit. If I’m not mistaken, it was done with Daddy Tekka assist.

Are there any videos of this?
