Make Karas’s chain grab and Tekka’s SPACE LARIAT! not equate to actual grabs but rather special projectiles instead. Leave Alex being able to grab the giants but not the characters like Gan and Karas.
How about Morrigan? She has a close command grab too. I can’t recall anyone else having it.

The character roster kinda sucks, it’s very limited and uninteresting (with the exceptions of Viewtiful Joe and . I do hope they add a few extra more, SPC would be nice and Dante from DMC.
You are wrong, actually. The character roster is wildly unique (no clone characters at all), and Joe is one of, if not THE least interesting of the bunch.
Keits speaks the truth. Of all the console characters, I find the other three console characters to be fun in their own, but I always find Viewtiful Joe to be the most bland and ineffective of the entire cast.
I didn’t think about the clone characters, though. One shoto in one game is a beautiful thing.
Play the game before you make a final judgment on the characters. You may not know half of them at first, but once you play, you’ll find characters that suit your style.
First off, what they said. Some of the characters in this game are incredibly unique and pretty much all of them are mad fun to play (except ryu).
Secondly, even if you just like joe for his looks, the reason they put him in is because he was styled after these old school tatsunoko style heroes. Take a long look at Joe’s outfit compared to say…Casshern…and see if you notice any similarities.

Do you think we’ll see Speed Racer?
Speed racer would definitely be a logical choice for bringing it over to the states, since he’s the only tatsunoko character with serious name recognition in the states. We’ll just have to wait and see how crazy they go with characters/balance changes.
Yeah, you’re right. I can only remember Speed racer and some G-force characters from Tatsunoko. I think we will be seeing new characters along with some fixes to the game. I just hope they add GOOD net coding to the game as well. I’ll have a reason to buy a Wii then.
If the Tatsunoko side is gonna see some possible character changes, I hope most of them stick around (mostly Polymar and Ippatsuman for personal reasons).
I have a feeling that Karas will stay in the roster since “Karas: The Prophecy” and “Karas: The Revelation” were both released in the U.S. a few years ago, so the Karas name has some establishment in the U.S.
Well all of the cast are confirmed save Daimaou.
