What meaty set up do you want the most? f.HP f.HK/c.HK or c.LK?

The tut will only cover f.HP f.HK/c.HK and c.LK
The tut will explain how if you know to a set up for one normal, you will know a set up for the other 3/4.
I havn’t gotten the exact numbers for everything yet (f.HK is weird)

Frames for Meaty +6 f.HK = 28-30 (idk
Frames for Meaty ++4 f.HP = 33+
I believe I’ve posted this before but here’s complete whiff frames of all normals (add all and minus 1 since you don’t count the one frame where a move starts up and is active (like jab start up 3 active 2 recovery 6 = 10)

Now since I posted already the frames for a meaty c.LK +7 You just add two things that add up to 40. So After first frame c.LK for a +7 c.LK
empty Jump c.LK works
fdash, s.HK , c.LK works
fdash, MK Duck works
It’s been known f.MK s.LP, and f.HP after c.MK set up a +6 f.HK but if you add them both up you don’t get matching numbers. It’s also known capcom made f.HK’s frame advantage cap at +6 to prevent links into ultra. f.HK has 4 active frames so there’s 2 frames you can hit +6 on.
f.MK, s.LP = 18+10 28
f.HP = 33 frames
After testing out f.MK s.LP it’s easy to say that it’s not a frame perfect set up, there’s delay to make it work so imo it’s not viable for the tut (lol wait til the end when i ask if subtracting 1 frame is right or wrong. anyway)
So here’s where I make a set up that adds to 31 and 33 to see whether the f.HP hits at the beginning or end ( this is being done live so it may need touchign up but this is how i think)

a 32 frame set up that sets up f.HK also sets up a +5 f.HP. If this set up doesn’t hit f.HK on the last frame, a last frame f.HK set up will make f.HP be +6(i just realized f.HP is 32 so i went back and hanged from 33 so any numbers i didnt change now u know (i dont post this in notepad Im just not backspacing)
I’ll add I like to use fdash, jabs and jump for set ups because there’s little chance of error when you use them.
LK Duck + c.LP = 31
Fdash + s.MP = 33
After a good long 10 attempts each I’m like “nah” so I go back to the f.MK s.LP set up and try an easier one.
Fdash c.LP = 19 +11 30
It’s +6
I test f.HP with this set up to get +6
If it’s +6 c.MK is 32/33 for a +6 f.HK
Meaning 2 more frames and you can do a +8 f.HP off a c.MK by now you get the idea of how you can turn old set ups into new set ups.
