Lets exchange Gen/DJ/Makoto vs Dudley matchup knowledge

Imo Dudley beats DJ and Makoto (6-4 and 5.5-4.5) Ultra 1 shuts down alot of DJ’s moves and DJ’s really easy to whiff punish / anti air. DJ isn’t a footsy character and doesn’t have a good offense vs Dudley besides if he can get a knockdown or his zoning game. Anti air his knee shots with c.HK for free, s.HK or s.HP everything on block almost. Idk i’m not really good at explaining match ups. It’s best if you just played a few that played me if online.
Makoto is momentum based so you gotta keep her out. Dudey’s s.HP, c.HK , s.HK and anti airs keep her out well enough to avoid her being able to start much for a while. Dont stand idle for too long, you should occupy as much space as you can as safely as you can because the reality is Makoto has a reeeeeeeally hard time getting in on Dudley. watch out for trading with her HK axe kick. you can focus her axe kicks if you can get a good raed on it for free.
Oki 2 followed by blockstrings and frame traps imo works best. easy to safe jump, she cant command grab you out the air if you do a 7f or 8f safe jump. OS ultra 1 beats everything unless she has ultra 2. if she’s cornered iwth u2 you can os jet upper and hit her out of it counter hit or trade.

Gen imo 5-5 really a footsy game , who ever gets the first knockdown or buffer can win or do mad damage. don’t forget about the punish combo in the corner, do that everytime unless you have meter for stuns imo since you can start using HK ssb safely to beat his DP for a free 500+ stun punish.

Land buffered Duck xx Super (as in combo or through fireball?)
Link into Ultra1 or 2 from counter hit (does trade c.hp counts?)

1- refers to buffering duck from anything into super. It can be MP xx LK duck upper xx super, MP xx MK duck xx super, s.HK xx duck xx super ect.

Which normals can you link ultra from? The only one I’ve found so far is stMP on counterhit and that move it pretty terrible (in terms of hitbox) I guess you could from counterhit jHK?

No it wasn’t a question, more of a confuse statement. Like “whats the point of going for it?” It’s just inviting a dp. But I was wondering if there are any other normals that do link into ultra because st MP is pretty bad.

did you watch blockstrings and pressure?
just do a counter hit link or a trade link into ultra.
also DP? you play shotos 100% of the time?

no, but everyone (basically) has a good anti air uppercut type move, so I hate jumping in other than safe jumps. but I’m gonna take another look at blockstrings and pressure and try a few set ups. Thats the last challenge I have to do, and I’m trying to do it without fishing for it.

If you do duck straight > ex upper 1 hit as an ending juggle, you can do LP MP HP MGB

edit more testing shows it depends where the upper hits.
you can Easily tell if it’s a 1st hit upper from the hitlag when it connects.

If it’s frst hit of upper of course you can do anything even another duck straight (doesn’t work midscreen due to recovery and not fadcing)
if it’s 2nd hit you might be able to juggle a LP MP HP MGB depending where you are.

If at any time you get a single hit EX Upper. You can Juggle into either
