not mad, just disappointed to see potential wasted online, catch my drift? didn’t you say you struggled vs oni/evil ryu? they are like 6-4 dudleys adv or better 65-35 is how badly evil ryu loses. You can practically only use st.hp against him and win.

no actually I haven’t played against any good oni’s or evil ryu so i left it as 5-5 and noted why i put them as 5-5 for now, like I said your reading is lacking and you still off topic. Only good Oni’s I played til this day are Rico and Chris, but you know I can’t mention big name players because I’m simply “bragging” just like you said. Guiles Sonic Booms are less likely to be punished compared to Deejays, the problem is the spacing between the fireballs and the position your in towards punishing them with ex duck straight / upper.
Deejay’s Air Slasher has 39 total frame durations with a 12 frame startup, LP, MP, and HP. This is excluding EX.
Guiles Booms are 9 frame startup with 29 frame durations on LP, 31 on MP, and 33 on HP. This is excluding EX.

Chun’s LP Fireball is only 1 frame faster recovery than Ryu according to the frame data but we all know the fucking thing is so slow that if you duck/ultra too soon you end up getting hit by it. The fucking thing crawls on screen, I’m pretty sure it’s slower than Guile’s LP Boom.
I figure it’d just be best to go by overall speed, and non EX fireballs
Also I’m not including dan because you can react to his fireballs with s.HP or f.MP.

His fireball has it’s uses and it’s 40/41/42/40 recovery makes it faster than Gouken’s.
Sagat’s standing tiger shot is 35 frames recovery, low tiger shot 45.

I figure shince it’s braindead easy to react to a gadoken with s.Fierce (6 frame start up 120 damage) than ducking it with Duck Upper Straight (100/120 damage).

ok third thing: I am a little confused about why c.mp is not a poke… it has a great hitbox and is special cancelable right? couldn’t it be used to counterpoke with a buffered exmgb? (buffered from range so it only comes out on a counterhit, not on block obviously) - genuine apologies if this is a dumb question, i’ve only been using dudley for about 2 days (and he plays very differently than guile and abel)

ok, so my hunch about c.mp was partially correct then? its just going to be in a later tutorial? thats cool, thanks for doing these by the way, they are really awesome. I’m still in that phase with dudley where i feel like he has no weaknesses, have you considered doing a tutorial covering dudley’s weak points and how best to overcome them through smart play? (i know these must be hard work, so please don’t think I’m being inconsiderate of your time, I just like the videos and wouldn’t mind some more…)
the only weakness I’m not covering is Dudley on Defense.

Dudley’s best pressure comes from being +1 +2 or 0 on hit/block. He can apply pressure beign -1 -2 on block as well I’ll cover that too (example what to do after LP MGB on hit/block, after HP MGB or Duck Upper (125 and 120 damage I’ll explain you can hit confirm into Duck Upper at pro level over HP MGB since more advantage on hit + reset option with empty duck)
