hm… ya know what sorta woulda been cool to see in a punish combo video? some actual punishes. like instead of just doing the combo and say, “here. punish with this”. show situations where it could be applicable.

nice vid though. i think i’ll stick to f.mk, s.hk or c.hp, s.hk cause i’m really not good at remember character specific stuff. rather be safe than sorry.

so were you talking about whiffed DPs / mashed out DPs on block? as in how you would punish it? What do you mean… like if you just see a lp DP whiffed, how would you punish before they recover?

lol. ok you see how in the vid 34 was just doing the combos on a standing dee jay? instead of just having dee jay stand there, he could have recorded dee jay doing a MGU or up kicks and showed him punishing that with whatever combo he was demonstrating. he could even have switched the characters up and have them do different things that dud could punish with w.e combo he was showing off.

it’d just be something subtle for the audience to pick up on without him having to write it down in text.

I dunno, in regards to whiff punishing you should always try to go for max damage. Whether the video shows Dee Jay whiffing up kicks or not, the combo should still be the same in that situation. What you are asking for is kinda redundant, IMO.
