Not to forget that the Xbox has the worst D-Pad in history.
I agree. I always forget that lots of people do play on pad. If that is also a factor in choosing which console, you’re gonna have a bad time trying to do the Korean backdash on those.

I couldn’t even imagine EWGF on that thing. Great for shooters, a nightmare for fighters.
The loading time on PS3 are atrocious sometimes. After every ranked match it takes like 30 seconds to upload some data or something before it let’s you onto the menu to search for another match. Customizations also load a long time for some reason. I hear the XBox version has things better when it comes to load times, other than that the differances are just a bit shittier graphics but who cares about that.
It is unusable.
On the 360 the loading can be annoying but after installing game to hdd it gets better. My experience with the netplay has been shockingly good on Xbox. Overall I can’t complain about my 360 experience. I have never played on Ps3
It definitely has faster loads. The slowdown can be cumbersome at times, though.
I have no trouble doing ewgf on the Xbox pad. Its not that hard to me at least.

Tbqh I have never even given the dpad a chance. But my assessment of it was that it wasn’t worth the time spent learning. I started FG last year, after suffering for like a month with the analog stick I bought a TE. Possibly the best gaming investment I’ve ever made. FG are the only games I’ve actually stuck by in my 20 some years of gaming. I would argue that it is more a hobby than gaming, what with training and all, its not loading up skyrim and zonking for six hours.
Tldr; if you know you like the game and really want to play it-- do some research and invest in the control of your choosing, its worth it
There are many players having connection problems with TTT2. Just compare the wtf-techforum… Many people(including me) are complaining about having issues with connecting to lobbies/ranked matches.
If you look through the xbox-techforum you’ll see different topics while the ps3 section is all about online mode.
Harada confirmed it via japanes twitter and mentioned that there’s a fix coming with the next patch. (read this in the tech-forum but don’t know if it’s true)
Digital Foundry have just done their comparison. Looks like they’re pretty much identical bar the quicker loading times on the 360.
Anyone on PS3 get slowdowns when doing Raven’s teleport moves?
Bought this yesterday finally, on 360. Haven’t had a change to even open it yet. When it comes to fighters, I think the whole XBL community being a lot bigger outside of Japan makes me end up getting them for it. I mean playing FPS on PS3 doesn’t really bother me.
I can’t use it to save my life for fighting games either. I won a bunch of ranked matches in other games, when someone was using my stick, and was surprised I could even pull off combos lol. There was a time where I had almost 100% lose rate for almost a month cause I was using an Xbox pad.
PS3 (PS2 is better) however, I have no problems with, although the trigger buttons annoy me.
