How’s it going SRK, this is Brandon from Triumvir. I’ve been lurking on this site ever since we first announced the Triumvir x SF collaboration. - sup Hazank0, unfortunately we’ll not be reproducing the Gallia Flannels. I understand most of you guys are not familiar with the apparel industry, but for a Flannel button up like the Gallia, it usually takes 3 ~ 4 months to be made here in the United States. Triumvir is a very small company operated with no major investors therefore we have a certain amount of budget we can use to produce our pieces. This is why Triumvir’s items seems so limited, we do not have the capabilities nor the gamble to over produce and have it not sell. Basically, Triumvir is small and very cautious with our money… especially in this economy.
- sup Persia, hopefully what I wrote above to Hazank0 can clarify why we keep things a little bit limited. I’ve also attached a question I’ve answered below over on Hypebeast.com (a streetwear forum), where someone was asking the same question…
*1). Triumvir does not design a year ahead anymore, which means accounts cannot pre-book at trade shows or etc.
2). As of late 2008 we only allow less than 20 accounts to carry Triumvir in a given season worldwide. Compared to over 150 accounts we had in early 2007.
3). Triumvir is a very small company and we have no major Manufacture’s / Investors backing us up with production, which equates to less money / less pcs made / less accounts to please.
4). The apparel side of Triumvir is just one spectrum of our company. We do a lot of different things. All these small side projects with Capcom etc., takes a lot of time, which in turn translates to a lot of money being locked up elsewhere, which translates to we can only use a certain amount of our budget to use for Triumvir’s collection.
5). We do our own thing.*

Sorry guys, I did my best to have Blanka represented. This second drop with Street Fighter was a last minute project we decided to do, we were actually closing the curtains with the Shadaloo Collection.
Funny thing with Blanka is that he was the first character we were working on when we made the deal with Capcom. Blanka was going to be our first SF vinyl toy character. We worked out a deal with a pretty well known Japanese vinyl toy designer who worked on the Star Wars & Ultraman collections. But at the end of the day, we just didn’t have $20,000.00 available to allocate to SF toys. As for the t-shirt we really just didn’t have the time to squeeze all the characters in… our contract with Capcom is nearing its end…

haha, -db- unfortunately this time we will not be offering to any accounts. The collection will only be available at triumvir.com. We weren’t too happy with majority of the accounts that we sold the Shadaloo collection too, so this time we rather represent the collection ourselves.
