Could he have blocked afterwards? Why’d you have him jump up foward instead of neutral jump? Is that a super jump up forward?
Its regular jump, had him forward jump just to test instant overhead ideas. He could probably block it but its more for a concept idea right now. I’ll check if he could block later today.
Can block the j.LP, but can’t block if they do a j.HP but much harder to confirm with if they go for the j.HP (at least with Spencer). For the most part the concept is to focus on how to punish jump ins/overheads with LK Counter. Since it seems almost impossible to confirm solo on grounded attacks with the LK counter without a Storm activation.
I cant find a good damaging combo from catching people with a qcb HP at superjump height (like a dante charging his guitar or dorm or ultron droning it up). Best i got is qcb HP dash jHP land jlk jhp qcb lp hp qcf lp qcb lp jhp qcb hp air super for 5800dmg.
I understand the concept but it seems pointless to me if you have the dummy doing something unreasonable. Like if you can get a full combo from an Ultron box dash HP. Then that’d be something.
From a raw qcb HP at super jump height, I get 6.3K and about 0.80 bar. qcb HP, air dash, j.HK, dash, HP, qcf LP, super jump forward j.HP, air qcb LP, dash, HP, cr.HK, qcb HP, Sword Super.
Not from a raw qcb HP, but this is what I got. 6.5K damage almost builds a full bar.

Although the second combo in your video does 3 more points of damage than Evil Canadian’s bnb (6,725 with 1 bar, nice) and can work anywhere on the screen, getting the Second Divide HK projectile to come out in the corner is really inconsistent.

I finally decided to give Sigma a go and was able to put this combo together. It’s pretty easy to pull off consistently too so it’s awesome that it works anywhere on the screen. This is most definitely gonna be my BnB moving forward. Hope it helps someone out who may be looking for more Sigma combos or a BnB of their own. This voice actor went IN he’s so evil I love it! Haha
