I still have yet to hear this. I saw the trailer last night before 28 Weeks Later and didn’t hear it at all.
The transform sound was heard at one of the test screenings earlier this year…
I dunno, it just sounds tacked on, I thought the sound was going to be reimagined.
Designs are bad and all that, but ILM’s seriously earning their paychecks with this movie.

These new trailers are seriously the best yet, they’ve raised my interest level in the movie.

It’s not a cartoon.
I mean come on, in the original it was mostly action to begin with, don’t act like there was some deep philosophical underbelly to the show that isn’t going to be portrayed justly in the film. It’s a bunch of transforming robots blowing shit up with other transforming robots, leave your memories of the childhood cartoon show in the past already, it’ll ruin your expierence in seeing this film.
true, but at least in the cartoons, the transformers had human-ish personalities and voices. That’s what made me actually CARE about the series. If I wanted to see machines/robots just mindlessly blast each other, I could’ve watched countless other 80’s/90’s cartoons.
I just hope the movie puts some “life” into the transformers. not “johnny 5 short circuit” type personality bullshit, but definitely more than just “oh, i’m a robot.”
I agree with arsenal , there should be at least some characterization w/ the robots otherwise it 'll just be id4 redux.
While im not expecting a simon furman esque tale, hopefully Op/Megs and bb/scream get some shining character moments.
Well thus far we’ve yet to hear any of these guys even speak in the trailer.
I mean I’m sure they’ll put some life and soul into these guys, but this really would work best as a summer action flick, and that’s really all you should be expecting.
I know what u mean with personality. Just dont repeat the usual robot shit where it’s just a robot and does as programmed or wants to stop fighting and live among humans like Zeta in the DCAU
