watching the trailer during american idol last night it strangely hit me for the first time that this is going to be a Michael Bay movie first and a Transformers movie second.

So my roommate isn’t a Transformers fan, he just is vaguely familiar with them because, well, I live here. (he is specifically a Megatron fan, though, go figure.) So, my Classics are sitting on top of my TV armoire. He came in and saw a few of them…saw Skywarp…saw Starscream…probably saw Dirge…noticed somebody was missing, but he’s not as familiar with Transformers name as I am, obviously. So he asks, “where’s Thunderhonky?”
I believe MP Starscream is still out there. You just gotta search for it. But, I may be mistaken.
finally read #2 of the movie prequel. Interesting, and we see Spike’s great grandpa lol.
Did you notice that no one questioned that? Seems we all got it! 
After seeing several of my favorite books raped by Hollywood, I’ve learned to go into those type of situations with the lowest of expectations. I never hoped for much from this movie, and will probably not have my expectations exceeded.
