I got that ep on VHS somewhere and still cry as well as salute. Even worse it was on a Sunday and still had to go to bible school after it aired. Are the MP line of BW pretty hard/expensive to get?
Right now the only MP BW figure is Primal. The rumor mill says Megatron will be next. I wouldn’t count on any of the Generations figures that were just released a year or so ago being put into the MP lineup. I feel there is very little that can be done to improve on the design.

Ugh, looks like it got shipped out from Japan today. Should have it by Monday. I ordered it through AmiAmi. I think I am going to switch back to HLJ. They cost a few bucks more, but I don’t have to authorize each paypal transaction and they ship immediately. I did MP Ratchet through AmiAmi, but that’s it after that.
Does anyone else find it strange that most of the domestic sites have Optimus Primal up for pre-order, but none of the JP ones?
English review - First one up so far
That color bothers me a lot more than I initial thought it would. Definitely gonna wait for a repaint, if that ever happens.
Another (long but good imo) review of MP Shockwave from longtime US reviewer optibotimus
The only repaint you will ever see is that of Shackwave (grey in color). It could have been a shade or two darker, but doesn’t bother me.
Takara is killing it with these MPs. So the lineup for the rest of the year is Ratchet, MP Magnus repaint, Ramjet, and MP Primal. Lets hope there isn’t anything else coming down the pipe (except for Jazz).
Also, I sent an inquiry to HLJ on MP Primal. They are going to carry it, but haven’t thrown up the pre-order at this time because they aren’t allowed to release the information yet. So any of you ordering through them, just wait patiently.

I am really loving the way TakTomy is implementing the face swaps for the MP figures as of late. I hope Primal has that same tool-less engineering.
Quick Note - Shockwave initial impressions
Think of MP Grimlock. A refinement of the original toy with new tricks. Definitely worth placing on your 'Con shelf. There is die cast on the figure where it needs it. I’ll go a little deeper once I get some time to actually play with it.

It’s gonna be damn near impossible to sell the first Classics Astrotrain now. May as well throw it in the trash. I am gonna skip Sentinel Prime and get that deco. Even though it’s a Headmaster, it’s practically what you would want from the character. I want to see what the Japanese release will look like. I am definitely gonna be on this official release. The kickstarter may still have a few things that we may not have access too. You wonder if Sony is aware of this guy doing that. They may give him a stop order for the project.
