I don’t have a problem with Megs Legs, because 1. He’s a robot, so his legs don’t HAVE to be huge (of course it doesn’t match the show, but then the show didn’t match the G1 toy either).

and 2. There’s no other way to engineer the toy so it works, they did the best they could with what they had. Unless Takara can alter the laws of physics, and pull mass out of their asses.

Perhaps if they’d made some sacrifices to the alt mode, they could have his legs looking better in robot mode. I say, make sacrifices to the alt mode and not the robot mode.

Basically the opposite of what unfortunately happened with MP StarScream. Where bad alterations were made to the robot mode, for the sake of having the jet mode be more realistic which is not a good idea. Priority should always be on the robot mode.

I think Takara was trying to strike a balance here, I really don’t mind Megs so much, as I’ve stated before.

BUT, if they had put the stock, and flash suppressor into the mix, it could be used as armor to build up mass in the legs, that’s missing.

Im torn on if I should get the TRU soundwave. I just got the Takara one in the summer, but at the price of the TRU one, I might not be able to pass it up.

I honestly LOVE MP Starscream. I wish I hadnt have sold the one I aquired. But yea, I have no complaints for any of the MP releases as of yet. I’m just not that picky I guess. ;p

But yea, the blue color of Starscream doesnt bother me, and Meg’s thin legs dont bother me one bit. The key for me is that they still resemble their cartoon counterparts, almost perfectly in this case (Megs).

hmm soundwave would be an obvious choice…but i see the next wholly unique one being an autobot (2 deceps, 1auto(not counting “magnus”) but who the fuck knows?

And would they consider bots who dont have “realistic” alt modes --ie Grimlock, Hot rod.etc? I could almost see a mp hot rod/grim being made in the next few years on the autobot side…)

Crave Online: So let?s talk about Transformers. How was that experience?

Tyrese: It was incredible. There was not one day that I showed up on that movie set and what I was exposed to didn?t blow my mind.

Crave Online: Tell me about your role in the movie.

Tyrese: My character?s name is Epps. I am what you would call a combat controller. My [job] is to communicate with all of the aircraft; any Blackhawk?s or any B2 Stealth Bombers or anything that has to do with aircraft.

Tyrese quickly jumps in to his Sgt. Epps character and begins to give me flight information. We are Alpha 2-7, 3 Degrees. Nine minutes north latitude?

Tyrese: I had to do that real fast cadence and it takes so long to learn that shit [that] it never leaves your mind.

Crave Online: When did you finish shooting the film?

Tyrese: We wrapped about two months ago.

Crave Online: This being your first ?effects? movie, was it difficult or strange acting in that environment?

Tyrese: Actually, as difficult as it appeared to be it was pretty regular within all of that difficult shit. It?s not like they said put this green suit on and stand there like Tickle Me Elmo. It was the surroundings. It was about 40-50 foot Transformers in front of us that they built.

Crave Online: So they are not just using CGI.

Tyrese: No, they had about five real Transformers. Bumblebee, Optimus Prime was real. It was a gang of [them], they had Megatron.

Crave Online: Let me ask you about a movie that you have been rumored to be involved with. Are you going to do the Luke Cage movie for Marvel?

Tyrese: If they get the script right. Right now me and John Singleton are on standby waiting on them to get the screenplay right so we can do what we do.

Crave Online: Last question. What is next after the album drops and the movie is out, what are you going to be doing?

Tyrese: I?m just going to go on tour with Fantasia (from American Idol) and I might be going [on tour] with Jamie Foxx after that. Then we [are] trying to go out [on tour], me Game, Akon and Bone Thugs and Harmony. I?m just going to be on the road, forever.

Crave Online: Well Mr. Gibson, thank you for your time and I will be checking out that album.

I was wondering myself as well. We have Prime, Magnus(cheap!), and now Megatron is coming soon. I was hoping for an MP Shockwave because I really didn’t dig his Binaltech version. I was very picky about the Binaltech stuff because I was so used to their respective transformations from the cartoon series.

I’d pay top dollar(and some babies) for an MP Unicron. Can we say “Greedy Deathscythe”?

I was hoping for an MP Shockwave because I really didn’t dig his Binaltech version.

ARE YOU MAD??? I’m buying an RX-8 because of that figure! My inner super TF-nerd might kick into higher gear if I get one 'cause I’d get a custom plate that says “SHOCKWAV” and most certainly a Decepticon logo on the back window.

For the next MP, Takara’s likely going to choose whomever is most popular still to their Japanese-fan base: Hotrod (which I’m all for), Meister/Jazz and probably a few repaints of Starscream as Skywarp and Thundercracker.

Soundwave would be insane but for some reason he doesn’t seem to be a favorite in Japan - he’s well loved in America.
