Okay, so, I was thinking about how certain aspects of AoEās storyline and stuff could be played around with, mainly Megatron/Galvatron lacking a soul.
It hit me shortly that, in a way, neither does TF: Prime Megs after [details=Spoiler]the events of Predacons Rising, apparently he is or was barred from the AllSpark, which is BIG[/details] and, thinking about it, I wondered āwhat if thatās how film-verse Megs has it?ā

because it could explain so many things.
Going forward with that premise, hypothetically, this answers a LOT of things left unanswered/up in the air.

Also, if the AllSpark(particularly in the 2007 movie) can give life to inanimate machines, and also bring back those long passed, whatās to say Unicron, being the complete inverse of Primus in both role and ability, canāt do the same, even from afar, and even in a fairly cynical canon iteration like the film-verse?
On yet ANOTHER note, the Creators(Quintessons to me) probably answer to a higher-up, and wanting the Cybertronians back would fit into Unicronās M.O. pretty wellā¦ He wants everything alive to suffer, and die.
What better way to do that than to compel the TF into being cannon fodder, and having them destroy things they could very well appreciate if they were free, but are forced to watch everything burn as hands that are ostensibly theirs disobey what they desire?
He IS a sadist, after all.

As a bit of fanwank on my part, Megs in general actually does like 'Wave as a second-in-command more than Starscream(just look at how TF: Prime plays it!), appropriately so(TF: Prime, again, for general reasons why), and if Unicron ever gets to show up, assuming Unicron really can raise the dead, and more-or-less asks who Megs would like as a personal minion(like with the '86 movie, but Megatron would be lucid/alive enough to be able to pick) who else would Megatron summon for the next tier down on the Decepticon hierarchy?
It would also would be pretty good as TF franchise lore/mythology gag/nod; that IS what Shockwave often is, after all!
