Yea, I’ve been wanting to pick up that BW2 BB/Starscream set for a while. I think the black/purple deco is the best out of all the version that were released. Skywarp colors tend to look good on just about any Transformer.
I was looking at that SOC the other day and was totally reminded of Victory Leo. Will you be putting Autobot decals on it to further its place in your G1/Victory collection? I’ve always wanted SOC figures, particuarly the Tetsujin-28/Black Ox set.
And I’ll wait on DL Blaster. Something tells me I’ll come across someone on TFW that will trade me one for a 2.0 Prowl or Acid Storm.
It would look “Interesting” to saw the least. The paint apps for the jet mode may need to be modified, so it doesn’t look like an Abstract painting in robot mode.
The GX-54 is nice. Definitely could pass for Victory Leo. Starscream and BB is an awesome price. I bought a loose quality Dreadwing and Smokescreen (the original urban blue camo G2 Figure) about 2 or so years ago for roughly the same price. Still a good buy, and a much better color scheme IMO

I already own the Takara version, but I’m definitely interested in seeing the TRU release in person. I know I keep saying this, but we should put together a group buy so everyone has a chance at owning a Grimlock.
Universe Razorclaw, Shattered Glass Optimus Prime, and Hot Rod are great examples. If you want to make a transformer evil, just give him a black and purple repaint.

For starters, the people with better distribution and better access to TRU stores can post whether or not they’d be willing to hunt for Grimlock figures.
I honestly do not think anyone has to worry on this figure. At $70 his very price point will put off scalpers from trying any funny business.
The pics don’t do him justice, and make it look tiny as well. Still a big figure, just not as massive as the original.
Been going a little KO crazy lately. Since its been years since i’ve had the original, i actually bought BOTH versions of the KO Predaking but received the mini first.
Had i known I’d be this impressed with it, i don’t know if i would have bothered with the full-size KO(have not received it yet to compare them).

yes it’s gay. we had the highest in the nation last year, but I think they lowered it a tad while jersey took the #1 spot this year at somewhere around 13%.
but it all depends on where I’d find it at. 2 locations have around 8%, while the other 2 are around 11%.
so yes, preferably one of the more suburban locations 
payday today, so I hit up the walmart and I got real lucky and found Banzaitron. I never ever saw Bludgeon on the shelves so I had to get it. I think this is easily one of my new favorite TF’s. A lot of effort went into the design and it shows, the pop out knife scabbard being my favorite feature.

Hmmm? Bludgeon has been warming the shelves at my local wal-mart for a very, very long time now. Last time i was there i saw three.
the walmarts in my area are for the most part still rocking the same movie crap from months and months ago. I would have to do some traveling to get to the busier stores.

It’s not really enough said. Starscream was a $50 price point. The toy market is entirely different after that number, hence why you don’t see toys aside from Legos breaking that number when it isn’t Christmas time.
Starscream was a WalMart exclusive and distribution may have been “bad” but most stores got 3 cases, 6 if they were a Supercenter. My particular small WalMart had 21 Starscreams the weekend he got put out.
Lastly, TRU has a known track record for over-producing exclusives. You can still find their RotF exclusives on the shelf today. People thought Arcee was hard to find until their shelves started to get packed with all the cases that are now rolling in.
There’ll be plenty of Grimlock to go around. It may take a little work, but he’ll be there eventually.
