I wonder how big the Fansproject Springer will be…
So I got around to taking Bludgeon out of the box. The transformation is fairly simple. I’m not a big fan of the rubber treads because I’m afraid they’ll become brittle over time. There are some other rubbery parts, namely the sword, knife, and the gun that sits above the cannon as they have a tendency to bend (this can be fixed with a hairdryer). The bot mode is really nice. It obviously fits the movie aesthetic, but it doesn’t look bad at all next to Classics/Universe 2.0 figures and I remember reading on TFW that Bludgeon was originally intended for the 2.0 line before being pushed back for ROTF. The tank mode is cool, but I find the bot mode far more interesting.

And I almost picked up Recon Ironhide, but only because of the cool weapons that I’d most likely pass on to one of my Classics figs.
No. I was only going to pick him up if he was on clearance. The wife would have killed me if she knew I gave Wal-Mart $60.00 + tax. She already :rolleyes: when I told her even walked into a Wal-Mart last week.
I saw pics of Bludgeon on Seibertron.net - looks pretty cool but I’ve never been a big fan of that character.
well I’m picking up that bludgeon if I see him around, sold on the vid. very cool re-imagining of the character.

I gave away a bunch of Animated, Movie Voyager and Movie Deluxe characters today to a friend and his son…I’m streamlining my collection now. Dumped about 30 toys, and I have no regret whatsoever.
I’m hanging on to my MP, Alternators/Binaltech (of course), Universe, a few of the animated toys (Shockwave and Ultra Magnus are too cool to get rid of), and a few of the movie toys, and HA figs. I will be very selective in the future on which toys I buy, so the only one I plan to get from the upcoming lines are HA Barricade and Lockdown.

Yeah, I was considering moving back to my classic Megatron av, but I realized that we already have like 5 or 6 members who also have Meg’s (no offense Diek 
). So I decided to try something new. And I don’t see too many Soundwave av’s around.
Right now I’m cleaning the fuck out of our apartment to get ready for NYE. Shit’s about to get real fun in two days. :looney:

I think he’s talking about Botcon. I’d love to go, but I’m waiting for something closer to or in Pennsylvania, maybe Philly or Baltimore. I’d consider NY as well.

I got my Krihmuh gifts today…Alternity Bumble and Cliff…the pictures don’t do these guys justice. The chest isn’t even an issue… they are super detailed and super fun figs that will go nicely with my Alts.

I had quite a fright trying to pull the legs out, because I felt that I was REALLY going to break them. You have to pull them out and push on the windshield until you hear a loud CLICK. I was having a huge problem because when you pull the legs out, the dashboard is supposed to go OVER the seat instead of UNDER. When I fixed that problem, it was easy to transform them.
Other than that problem, I’m VERY glad that I got them, whether as a gift or even if I paid for them myself. They are small, but the detailing on them is RIDICULOUSLY meticulous.
