Anyway, this guy made some cool Armada figures using the Alternator/Binaltech line. I was able to check some of them out in person the other day.
Edit: For kicks. Here’s an incomplete project I was working on last year. I got discouraged and gave up, but a lot of the customizers have been telling me they were very impressed that it was hand-painted. They originally assumed it was sprayed on because of the smooth look and lack of brush strokes.
I remember seeing this huge cardboard Grimlock costume/prop at Otakon 2003. It fought the Kool-Aid Man. I, of course, missed this because I was in the game room playing Marvel
Kool Aid Man Vs. Grimlock? That’s a betetr match up than any Marvel Vs. game. Damn man!
I have a picture around here somewhere of a Ronald McSepiroth-Donald Vs. Sepiroth at AX08. Pretty funny shit. He had a 6-foot long french fry as a sword and long red hair. Looked like some kind of IPC reject.
That’s why I stopped playing Marvel after that summer.

I gave up on the Cybertron Menasor custom a while ago. I’m thinking of a few things to work on instead. One of them is repainting my spare Classics Hot Rod into G1 Overdrive.
The vehicle modes are almost the same. All I’d have to do is remove the spoiler. BUT part of the spoiler could be converted into wings for the doors as seen below.
I got both of those too. Nice molds. Wasn’t sold on Blades at first, but he grew on me. It’s a shame they’re releasing the mold again as Springer though. Would’ve been nice to add another triple changer to the line.
