Japanese Classics may include an exclusive seeker. If we’re going by the obvious, it’s Thundercracker.

In the 10+ years of BotCon, no exclusive from the covention has *ever *seen a mass-release either here or in Japan. Add to that the fact that the Japanese don’t really give a damn about Thundercracker and there you are…
Why would it be Skywarp if there was already one from the previous Classics line?
I didn’t think about Sunstorm though.
Because Skywarp was a limited release store exclusive. Target had the rights to the sale for a brief, but limited time.
Takara could release Skywarp and technically, it would be a special release as it was store specific here.
BotCon Thundercracker is under legal lock and key essentially.
Thundercracker gets no love.
I was thinking about not even bothering to transform him because of the immense difficulty factor he seems to possess. But let’s be real, I’ll hold him for 10 seconds and start the process - then I’ll post a reply on how it’s accomplished.

Saotomi: That’s because Thundercracker sucked. It was always about Screamer and Skywarp, this two hated each other.
I would hope the exclusive would be Ghost Starscream, but I don’t collect the Classics line so it’ll do me no good. One of these days I’ll secure me an honest-to-goodness G1 Ghost Starscream for the missus.
I hope it’s either Sunstorm, so we get a whole new classics toy, OR
a generic seeker for army building.

Why don’t you collect Classics?
Money issues mainly. I also think they look a little too cheap. I know we’ll never see the day when they bring die-cast back but some of the designs just don’t sit with me. Probably too picky, but it’s mostly lack of funds for my hobby.
Example: I’ve been trying to save up for MP04 since he was announced but the money is always better spent on my debt and bills. The only way I go thim now was because I sold off all my Marvel Legends and Street Fighter figures.
The entire Titanium line was kind of evidence that die cast parts do not mesh well with modern tech/articulation.
