Tankor (Octane) doesn’t look like what they had as a digital concept/proto as he looked better in that but meh oh well, still good IMO.

i like all of the classics

the only minor nitpics is octanes too busy in bot mode, and powerglide’s boobs.

Imo, prowl and onslaught are best, then streaker, then octane , then powerglide.

Wow. That’s twice now that I’ve crapped in my pants. Those Classics look sweet and I’m not even a fan of Classics. Looks like I might have some new toys to buy soon. I like Powerglide and Tankor - awesome.

I was looking into it, and G1 Ironhide is definintely a challenge and then some. First, the vehicle mode - a Nissan Onebox Cherry Vanette - these things went out of production years ago, and has such model kits are very rare to come by.

I tried looking at the Alternators line, but none of those bots really had a good base to want to try bashing with. The closest was Skids, but that’s still not quite Ironhide. I looked at Classics Ironhide and figured maybe I could try and give him a decent robot mode, but that toy doesn’t look very forgiving at all.

Perhaps I’ll start thinking about something easier.

You know, I actually did think about Alt Prime as well. Personally, I was aiming for an accurate robot mode - front window in the chest. With the Nissan Vanette, you can get away with it because the front of the car IS the front window. However most of the Alt’s separate the front window from the hood and make the hood the chest. That’s the big hurdle to get over.

It doesn’t even seem like it should be that difficult of a toy, the problem is just finding a model to work with.
