I was considering it after I came into possession of the red version but now that I know how special it is I think Ill hold on to it for a while longer.

This Omega Supreme is pretty fascinating.
The replacement voice actors in G1 Season 3 are really disappointing. But the opening shots that continue exactly from the end of the animated movie are money, and the plots are better.
Is it possible to get diaclone drivers anywhere? (FWIW, thatās a pretty awesome Transformers/Diaclone reference site - I hadnāt seen it before.) So far these seem the best (4 for $12), but I just thought Iād check to see if anybody knew of better less Iām-certain-to-cut-myself options. =) These are also good, but no magnets. Whine whine whine. In the worst case scenario, Iāll just buy the pre-made ones with no magnets and then get magnetic tape and hope it works out. Why canāt I pay $3-5 more and get magnets, darnit? =)

Iām not sure what to think about that. I know the original Omega Supreme mold was licensed to Takara by another japaense company, then Hasbro used it to make OS. But the box is in English? It looks like a bootleg to me.

Reminder for Transformers Animated: tonight at 8 (ET/PT) on CN. Itās 90 minutes (the first 3 eps pretty much).
This great site had a pic that matched, so I followed the trail to this discussion of Mechabot Supreme, which led to this list which seemingly confirms Mechabot-01 as being the actual pre-Hasbro source for Omega Supreme from Toybox.
I especially like that the alternate Omega Supremes have more of the āCybertron Protectorā coloring.
Cybertron Metroplex is cool. Too bad his alt mode looks like heās about ready to take it up the ass.
I also recommend Energon Scorponok if you donāt own him already.
Just got done watching the TFA premier. It was pretty good. Aside from those pesky humans, the show does the TF universe justice. But even going back to G1, the human characters were all annoying and unnecessary anyway so whatever.
Some highlights:

[]This Prime is very similar to Orion Pax in that heās a young laborer trying to become a leader. Ultra Magnus is his superior.
[]Megatron is great. The design. The voice. Everything. He sounds a little like Mr. Freeze from Batman TAS.

[]Ratchet is your typical old timer. There are many parallels to Kup.

thanks for the thoughts man. I was on the interstate the last hours and i missed it.
Corey Burton is doing megatron (He was Shockwave/spike/brawn/snstreaker on G1 and Brainiac on the Justice LEague/ superman cartoons), so i wasnt surprised that his voice was reminiscent of freeze. I think he does ratchet in TFA also.
Just saw the premier of the new show.
I really dislike the animation style as it makes my eyes bleed, however the quality of the animation itself is pretty good (no recycled footage or overused transformation montages) and the action was also entertaining. There were also plenty of nods to the G1 fanbase, so that was cool too. Oddly enough, the characterization was easily the best part of the show. The writing was quite good for a show aimed at the younger demographic. Megatron was a beast, and will definitely bring the hurt when he gets back into the act. Starscream, one of my all-time favorites, was amazing, very much like his G1 self, but maybe even more daring and gutsier. I was a little disappointed with newbie Prime, but J is right in making the Pax comparison, so that makes things a little better. He should still have a gun though. Overall, I canāt wait to see more of this show. It captures the spirit of transformers very well.

randomly seems to have cheap Quintessons (Quint-01, the only really good one to me), light-up energon cubes, and the Spike/Sparkplug drivers set. He seems to have a large stock for sale, and even with $9 shipping per item thatās still $20 saved over buying them Brianās Toys or wherever else Iāve seen them. :tup:

I only got to see the last half hour but it was BALLER!! I really liked some of the shots like when prime and starscream are falling and the camera is spinning around them.
the fights were also really cool and it actually seemed like the autobots were outmatched by starscream unlike in cybertron or energon where theres only like, 3 decepticons to 10 autobots and usually the decepticons are morons who get pwned by primes SOOPER MODE!!
from what I saw I was really impressed, hell, I barely even noticed the goofy character designs after awhile.
