What do you mean by “how small?” They’re identical molds, only hasbro’s uses plastic and Takara uses die-cast.
Do you mean in selection? Yeah, that is disappointing but I read somewhere that many of the original molds were destroyed or sold off - or something like that. I like what they’ve done but they’re a little too expensive for me. I’m just glad I got my re-issue Megs and Starscream when I did.
the flame thing seesms a little much, trying to appeal to the hip crowd , but the actual vehicle itself is close to what i pictured in my mind.

Well, a lot of the takara reissues I never had as a kid, so when I got them I expected them to be a little bigger. Not to mention I was a little kid when I collected G1, so I guess I remembered them looking bigger in my little hands back then

Oh yeah, now that I’m hearing. I felt the same way when I bought my re-issue Megatron. The gun seemed a little smaller than I remembered and his robot mode was even more.
I have the re-issue Prowl and a few others on my shelf and just looking at how tiny he is is strange. But eh, fuck it, it’s the memories I cherish, plastic and die-cast.
And I don’t like that leaked picture (if it’s true) at all. I think I like the idea of Prime as a firetruck more now. But I guess we’ll just wait and see.

I have the first 6 episodes of Headmasters on DVD (was a different release, almost 2 years ago or something) it’s horrible dubbed with no other audio options… makes it unbearable.
Yup, its regionfree, as well and is subtitled.
Special features it has commentary on a few episodes.

Yup. Headmasters has Soundwave and Blaster in a battle to the death, where they get rebuilt as Soundblaster and Twincast… so technically you could call it a “battle to the rebirth”. Ultra Magnus and Galvatron also die, iirc. (been a long time since I’ve seen it unsubbed). Oh, and Sixshot and Daniel become friends and Wheelie gets drunk in one episode. :wgrin:
I love the new Classics toys, can’t wait to get my hands on 'em. Even Megatron is growing on me. But what I really want to see are what the next ones will look like… Grimlock, Ramjet, Cliffjumper, Jetfire, etc.
