Bought Ultimate Bumblebee. Heāsā¦ummā¦prettyā¦ultimate? Donāt know if any of you have him. Very detailed, motion sensitive apparently, and he can aim his arm cannon and fire a missile (lol). One funny thing I noticed when taking him out of the box is that thereās an Allspark-looking cube connecting the head and chest.
Iām bidding on my very own MP Skywarp at the moment. I looked at MP Starscream and Iām just not digging the color scheme. Reminds me more of Thundercracker.

Yes, I did, and avoided that like the plague. I did manage to get SDCC Rodimus and I tried to get pimp-Destro for a friend of mine, but they were sold out. I was planning to buy TiTa Ultra Magnus, but Iām not that big of a fan.

Itās not rust. It is tarnish. Tarnish that can be easily wiped away with minimal effort.
Do NOT put all of that protective coating on your toy.

I got my MP-02 Ultra Magnus in the mail today. :bgrin: I felt a little pathetic noticing in contrast how I had screwed up a couple elements of my Optimusā tranformation back to robot, but ā¦ easy to fix up now that I see the right way to do it. Weird that I now have two Matrix of Leadership. Cool that he has a different gun (linking back to the original 3 Takara(?) guns that eventually led to Megatron maybeā¦ ?). The cardboard trailer kind of sucks - mine was either ripped inbox or as soon as I pulled it out (more likely admittedly). Iād buy a custom one, but I havenāt seen one. :sad:
Itās a 6 ft Prime fiberglass statue. I actually found the listing for it on Ebay.
I bought an Alternator Sunstreaker. Looks pretty fucking sweet, especially with the alt mode being my fave car (Dodge Viper). Iām also going after an alternator Jazz (RX-8)
I broke down and bought Leader Megatron with repainting him in mind.
Wow, I firmly believe Takara hates kids. Putting together the Masterpiece Ultra Magnus cardboard trailer is a horrible chore and it looks horrible.
On the plus side, MP Ultra Magnus looks pretty tight waiting to shoot MP Skywarp. :tup:
I went to target and saw leader class brawl on the shelf along with the entire first wave of movie robot heroes and I thought to myself āSHIT! no money!!ā. sigh, leader brawl is imo the best looking movie figure in terms of both vehicle and robot accuracy. looks better than prime which looks waaaaay better than megatron.
nailing that movie gallery job would be perfect right about now.
Wait, Magnusā trailer is made out of cardboard? Cardboard on an MP figure? Shitā¦that trailer should be made out of platinum and diamonds.

Yep - I respect itās a free bonus with your MP Ultra Magnus purchase, but they seriously did a horrible job with how they scored the cardboard. It looks rickety at best.

Hereās the important thing: Get the US release of him.
There are two variations for that mold, originally called Gigatron in Japan. The first version has the ability to take 6 different modes. When the mold was reused to create Galvatron (aka Japanese Devil Gigatron), it was reworked as well as repainted. Joints were improved and more importantly, 4 more official modes were possible raising the total to 10 modes.
The US release(s) only *ever *use the Devil Gigatron mold. So both the Megatron and Galvatron from US packaging can take on all 10 modes.
I am unsure as to if the SongKong version is based on Devil G or not. At any rate the US version will be cheaper.
(and as a point of advise once you have the toyā¦Make sure his feet are balanced on the curcular portion of the foot and not the dragon head. Heāll shelf dive if you skills in posing are low tier.)

Just curious what TF movie toys you suggest i should collect? I wanna pick up Prime, Megs and maybe the whole castā¦yet i dont wanna spend too much money. Was tempted on getting the leader class prime and megs and get that Bumblebee statue yet im kinda holding back alittle. Also i heard they might be releasing a old school starscream at wal-mart is that true? Sorry if these are dumdb questions just want too ask for future purchase sake.
