What happened? Hasbro/Takara stepped up it’s game, that’s what! Screw expensive-arse third-party, and even Masterpeice, when the mainline is putting out these badass releases.

Finally spotted Earthrise Grapple! If a 3rd party company made that figure they’d want 4x the price. No thanks. Building a roster of our favorite characters shouldn’t be reserved for Rich guys.

This has your name all over it, Optimus:

3 points of Articulation! 3 POINTS! Amazing.

I honestly have 0 interest in that. This is an example of value vs. worth on my end. Yeah, it’s a Prime, but of no consideration for me to buy.

Honestly, I would have thought it’d look better in red. I have both Sunstreaker and Cordon. This is likely a skip, but we’ll see.

Early review of ER Scorponok!

LOL I was just about to post this. That “base” mode is trash, but that’s not really why you buy most of these Titan class figures.

Interesting that they used a screw for the Zarak’s headmaster. Wonder what those saying the move from screw to pin was in response to 3D printed heads are saying now.

I feel like the base modes are a bit underwhelming than the G1 versions if you take it from a children’s toy perspective.

IMO TR Fort Max city mode was not as cool as the G1 form with 3 towers and didnt have those ramp gimmicks and small prison compartments. Also he didnt have one big ass gun or sword.
I know you could detach the double barreled red gun from his shin but it isnt the same.

ER Scorponok’s robot mode and scorpion are good, but it feels a bit incomplete . No full tilt , no regular hand held gun, and barely any gimmicks are in the city mode.

Part of me wonders if they did a 11-12 inch commander class version would they have more or less budget for “bells and whistles”

These Titan Class figures are such insanity. They look Great but, christ, there’s a LIMIT to how appealing size can be. Before it’s just a pain in the arse to own. I wish some 3rd party would make MP-Leader class size renditions of these guys.

Just got an email about this from BigBadToyStore. This might be the first MP I buy.

Ok i was joking about the Super Shogun Prime but, now i’m serious: Toys Alliance Mega Action Series MAS-01 Optimus Prime! Way back when this guy debuted, i was broke and couldn’t even afford to look at it. It’s been a while, now i’m revisiting this one.

Badass design, Good articulation, light-up eyes, and chest compartment with light-up Matrix! Probably the (1) figure to make me break my rule on obnoxiously over-sized bots.

You have this one?

I don’t. I was in the “I don’t buy non-transforming Transformers” phase and I just didn’t have a place to put it. I’ve seen it in person and it’s a pretty impressive piece.

Oh, and then there’s THIS:

LEWIN-01 ATLAS, a fully-transformable, 28 inch MP-10! So big he can actually hold the normal MP-10 in truck mode, in one hand.

This guys trips my “Too damned big” switch though. As he weighs about 20lbs and dwarfs the MAS-01. Plus they want like $350 for it.

You know how I feel about KOs

That dude turning red in the face trying to transform that thing.
