^I think you meant to post this in the general TF thread.

Crap, I sure did. I was switching tabs and got it flipped.

Behind the scenes of Transformers Devastation with Peter Cullen

New scenes from the game are all in here. The more I see, the better it looks IMO.

The feels I have right now…

Growing up, I had three heroes that I wanted to be like- Batman, Michael Jordan, and Optimus Prime.

This game and Rock Band 4 come out on the same day.

I

WILL

NOT

SLEEP!

Wtf g1? Why didn’t they use the Michael bay movie designs they are so much better.

We’ve had at least Bay style designs in 3-4 games.

Even 2 previous “G1” games by High Moon studios were polygonal/stylized designs.

This is IIRC the first modern TF game to have cel style artwork evoking the original show on consoles.

Motormaster Boss “Trailer”

His look is based on his recent Combiner Wars toy from Hasbro, (which explains the lack of trailer)

No idea who the VA is . Its not his original one since Roger Carmel has been dead since 1986.

VA sounds ok though but I can’t say I’m fond of him having his CW body… Motormaster G1 alt mode was always iconic to me

I have a feeling 1/2 of the origin of this game was:

I) platinum liking G1 and wanting to make a game

II) Hasbro wanting a means of promoting the Combiner Wars toyline (the name, Devastator and Mensasor being prominent in advertising)

Oh you know it’s a tie-in to CW. For the designs, HasTakTomy knows that CW Prime is the most God aweful rendition of Optimus Prime ever, so it is the most faithful to G1. Everyone else is a amalgam of the G1 and Classics design (especially Bumblebee’s and Sideswipe’s vehicle modes). To be honest I actually like Motormaster’s CW look. The scaling of the character makes a lot more sense and that mold (for Motormaster) is actually pretty good.

I am so glad this game has the G1 transformation sound proper. Ever since Transformers RID (2005) its been some sort of watered down KO version. That must have cost a pretty good penny to get the rights back for it.

I’m late replying to this, but…

Sometimes, it ain’t just about the characters only.

They should a behind the scenes with Frank Welker…he basically voiced over 1/2 of the main Decepticons.

Frank DA GAWD… That man’s voice has taken a beating because of it. It’s amazing the massive amount of characters he’s voiced…

Gameplay vid focusing on the Destructicons…

Blitzwing Trailer.

Loved the Constructicon trailer. The more of this game I see, the more apparent that it will be a retool of Bayonetta (which is not a bad thing).

However, the most cringeworthy thing was the timelapse including the use of instructions to form Devastator. Made me want to punch the screen.
