Tournament Promoters and venues to avoid!

Just a heads up on DFG. it has been 3 months since the last event and no one has gotten paid and also no answers from him at all on when/where/why

Why people decided to support DFG after the first time is beyond me…

Wow… first post here in years.

I had a discussion with an event planner back in September when the subject of DFG (Colorado Cutthroat) came up. The other people in my group and the event planner were unaware of his past issues with tournaments but were still going to go with him because of how he approached them and how professional he was.

The big problem that keeps happening is that DFG gets these huge venues or events to run tournaments at and it creates an image of this professional tournament promoter. He’ll be running all of the video game tournaments at Denver Comic Con, which is huge. He’ll continue running bad events, not paying out his share, and making the Colorado scene look terrible.

We are working really hard and believe that this is the last year we will have to suffer this stain on the Colorado community. but the first step is getting him back on this list.

Honestly, if this thread doesn’t get edited, I may take it upon myself to create a new one and get the old one decommissioned, and get a new one stickied.

That and the Wall of Shame in the Trading Outlet. New cases are popping up on both, and no one has any arsing to fix either thread.

And once DFG gets put on the list, you guys would possibly be able to send it to Denver Comic Con as a warning that if DFG is running their tournaments, they can expect attendance for them to be meager.
