No one can say someone is not taking the competition seriously if they work their butt off trying to make it through pools and somehow get to grand finals. I agree that the match should be played seriously, but no one should be forced to.

Yes they should, for multiple reasons. Saying “If you don’t want them to screw around in GFs, just win yourself!” oversimplifies the issue so much.

I agree. It’s disrespectful to the TO’s and the other players at the event. People should just give it their all.
