If a publisher was going to sue someone for putting on a tourney, you’d think they wouldn’t have waited 15+ years to do it.

OP, I understand what you’re saying, but what you have to realize is that people aren’t playing it for free.

Someone had to buy that copy of the game that they’re playing on.

Yes, other people are playing it, but in a large majority of cases, most of those players had to sign up first and probably pay a registration fee - thereby not making it just an open public session. I can see why someone might have a problem if someone just set up a couple consoles and just let any random passers-by play the game, but that’s not the case.

What about MLG? Capcom don’t allow them to use their games
