While I agree that Twelve can be a boring character to watch sometimes, I think it’s cool to have people play characters like him. I’d gladly take a Twelve match over a Makoto one simply because we NEVER see people play as him.
other 12s like moto are fun to watch, yamazaki’s style just puts me to sleep.
he’s definitely got skills but he does nothing but runaway with the life lead or even without it, hoping that his opponent will get impatient and make a mistake. anything goes but i get nothing out of watching a match like that. with other low tier characters, watching them win is impressive in what the player was capable of doing with the character, whereas watching yamazaki is just embarrassing

Yeah, it’s Ruu. Glad to see their team make it this year. They beat roshi/dirty/naitsu in the prelims and beat another team with ryu and hugo to qualify. The best of the low tier goodness comes through!

I don’t mean to be an ass or anything but I think Daigo was really overrated. There were a lot of better or more solid Kens even when he was active (Spellmaster J, Deshiken). His Ume shoryus were cool to watch tho.

Umehara discussion came out of nowhere lol. I really think that in his prime of 3s, his ken pioneered some crazy damaging tactics. Whatever though, he doesn’t really play anymore so I’ll try not to go on with this.
