Tougeki/SBO 2009 Teams

From the FAQ on the Tougeki site. Google translation Engrish aside, is it too early to get hyped? Anyone got any inside information about what they intend on showing?

So I’m assuming a live stream is guaranteed then?

talked to M O V yesterday
he said he is going to the last chance qualifier with kuroda and ino
he was using ken and ryu denjin so hopefullu he won`t be using chun ?

Yeesh. If you use Babelfish instead, the FAQ basically says the exact opposite.

That’s some shit right there. Thought Japan was supposed to be ahead of everyone else. Guess you can’t count out a seemingly trivial mistranslation like “section,” because it ends up meaning “no dice.”

BOOOO

i was hoping to actually plan a day to gather some ppl and watch this shit too

looks like we’ll have to sit in suspense

So there was a prize at the recent cooperation cup where a team of three is awarded entry into SBO. According to the new report (http://www.tougeki.com/report?id=284) and the wiki page, that team is -

Tetsugoshi (Q) \ Hiroemon (KE) \ Suzu (CH)

I find that kinda interesting cause those are the two teammates that Deshiken teamed up with for the Banpaku tournament, but this new ken player Hiroemon is apparently pretty damn good as well.

Just five days away!

that sucks so we’re not gonna get any of the “……HAI!!! eeehhhhhhh…:chat:” this year

too bad…

was hoping there would be a gods-garden type stream but oh well

this still cheered up my day

kuroda ino mov team shoto GO!

Dunno if you know but Kuroda unfortunately dropped Gouki for Ibuki.

Line up will probably look like Kuroda (IB) MOV (CH) Ino (MA)

Doubt MOV will use his alts in last chance.

Kuroda has apparently been raping with Ibuki according to Pherai’s trip in Japan blog.
I reckon he will be pulling lots of upsets with his Ibuki. His Gouki is too broken.

when it came to last years SBO it didnt seem that broken, he just did dumb stuff that costed him a couple of matches, his ibuki should probably fit the bill for the style he played like last year

i cant wait to see what he has in store

You best believe he’s going to involve taunt in a combo

they came in second in coop cup… hiroemon beasted the hell out of KOs team almost ocving it straight up… Hiroemon does so simple shit and gets away with it

yay for yellowkens

Kuroda’s Ibuki is just as nasty if not nastier than his Gouki.

I expect to see madness from him.

pfft
