im game for the tourney. i quoted a certain person saying that you guys sucked, i never said that I personally think u guys suck. if u do, fine, u dont, whatever. the only reason i mentioned anything on this thread cuz i was interested in going. i can bring a few ppl to the next tourney IF there is a next tourney and if its still worth going. im too lazy to check the past posts so, do you hav a time and day of the nxt tourney?
RabidWombat - wow man, dont take it personal but if you know phil then u would understand he likes to talk out of his ass from time to time. sometimes he jokes around, sometimes he doesnt but if your willing to make it into a violent issue, you are no better than he is. If his opinion is false about your reputation than whatever, its not a big deal that his words are hurting your feelings, it is a forum for opinion use anyways so it shouldnt matter. just dont let it get to you, it really isnt worth it.
You just kinda gotta understand where Wombat is coming from. He’s the one who put up his place for this. He’s the one that did most of the setup. He’s the one that got the people to come. And after all that, someone that never went has the nerve to say that it all sucked and isn’t worth shit. He has reason to take it a little more seriously than the rest of us.
well put it this way, if you know hes wrong, then why waste typing that hes wrong? you know that he cant prove you wrong because he hasnt played you guys at all, and he doesnt even know you but i will drop it at that. i can understand where u are coming from but phil is just really good at getting to your nerves and your response just makes it worse. if you want, i can get more ppl to come but it all depends. i talked to PJC bout it and he said if i come up and bring some ppl, he can definitely get ppl to come with him and come as well.
Bring all the people you want. It’s not about “Yeah, i’m the best”, it’s more about just chilling and having a good time.
At least this probably means i don’t have to bring Paul and Ed’s asses there.
I think Liquid put a good spin on everything. 'Nuff said about that. I really don’t consider this a tourny for bragging rights, possible because I don’t have much to brag about, so in my opinion I say the more the merrier. I’m all about checking out some good matches and letting the good times roll. Me and Rich were hanging out, discussing the side games for next tourny, and since all of about four people voted, I think me and him sort of agreed on TMNT and Super Turbo, unless there is suddenly a huge push for something else. Liquid, don’t hate on Turtles man, just one bite and you’ll be hooked. You don’t even need to know how to play and you can still win.
i never said that “Its about being the best” i just wanted to have comp and see if its worth going up there. i mean, would u like to drive about 3 hours to a 5 man tourney? i dont think so. dont take offense to what i say or how i say things. relax buddy, its all in fun. still waiting for tourney date and info.
no mvc2, i dont play but other than cvs2 thats the only game i believe that will interest outstate players—turtles is too good run that shit again…i really got to say drop sf2 for mk2 though
The confirmed games so far are 3S, GGXX, CvS2, and a Puzzle Fighter side tournament. MvC2, ST, and TMNT are still up for debate. TMNT is in jeopardy because we only have one copy of the game. If we can get two more before the 28th, we’ll run it.
Uh-oh, Spaghettios. MVC2? I might have to bust out Team Really, Really Big Man. Hulk, Juggs, and Sentinel. Sure, it sucks, but I ain’t playing to win. I dunno where the hell we can find another TMNT, aka Michaelangelo vs. Armaggon, but I would like to run it again. That, and some ST for rizzle bizzle.

another snes and copy of turtles is not a big deal, I have turtles/snes and megetta has turtles/snes…the tourney being down by 9pm last time was hot, with two sness im sure u get through all those games by 7 or 8—now that gangsta
