One TV I bring will be for SC4 at first, and one will be for SF4 the whole way.

So basiacally THREE TVs to start soul cal, then down to 2. TWO TVs to start SF4 then it will go up to THREE!!
Start time will be 2:30-2;45 for SOUL CAL, and 3-3;15 for SF.
I will arrive as early as 12;30 so come that early for casuals.
Russel - The parking garage is literally RIGHT ACROSS from the Building of the tournament. Just get on Bleecker St from Wellesley (One Way) and right in front of 375 Bleecker is the parking garage, which is $10 for the day. There may also be random 2 Hr parking spots but you risk getting a ticket or movign your car every other hour.
Dino: Umm… be careful when you say this. Last time, i had to wait.
I will be using my old laptop to do brackets for SFIV. Not sure if i can do simultaneous tournaments with it. So be prepared to do brackets on paper for SCIV. I have 3 friends coming that are starting out. They are good enough. We need another PS3 confirmed. I’ll talk to Junior today.

NOTE: Matches Between a PS3 and 360 Players will likely be played on whatever Console is available. There should be enough sticks all around to share, I doubt it will be hard to adapt to. If possible, we may split matches between consoles. This is still pending.
Information:This will be our 10th Tourney/Gathering. This will be our FIRST SF4 Console tourney, hosted by Russel. We hope to be able to promote both games as well as allowing players to be exposed to both games on a competitive level. We should be able to have at least TWO TVS devoted to EACH GAME. It would be advised that you bring your own Stick (PS2/PS3/360). We will likely have adapters on hand. Please contact me or Russel for more info.

To get in the Front door either call me beforehand (416-871-3665) or Russel (###-####), or it may already be open. But try to call before so we know you’re coming. Knock on the Rec Room door before entering
During casuals as the numbers increase, lets have BOTH players give up the controller so everyone has a chance to warm up and get in there zone
Hey Dinoz, I’d pm you but I don’t have enough posts.
Who can come to this tourney? Me and my friend want in on SF IV (PS3), and a few others who just want to come for some casual play and get exposed to the whole tournament thing. Hopefully you guys aren’t at full capacity yet.
We need more events like this for the Toronto area (I live in Scarborough) and it’d be awesome if we could come down and check it out.
ANYONE who is down for competitive SF or SC is welcome.
However, DO NOT BRING 4-5 GUYS THAT ARE THERE ONLY FOR CASUALS!! Two, maybe 3 is OK, but if you’re gonna come to play and learn, you may as well join the tourney and gain XP. Its only 5 Bucks, just think of it as a fee for the actual gathering of players. I expect 30-40 People or so, thats not max capacity but its getting there.
Also, the tourney will likely be split between 360 and PS3. Neither system will dominate, it will depend solely on which sticks will be used. Pad players will also come into effect, so EXPECT TO BE USING SOMEONE ELSES STICK/PAD SOMEWHERE DURING THE TOURNEY!!
Please everyone post any comments or concerns so we can have saturday run smoothly. Seems like people wanna get the tourney over with to get as much casuals in.
I will take “attendance” once you arrive. I will ask you WHICH SYSTEM YOU PREFER TO PLAY ON. I already have a general idea with the gamer tags, but I will need a complete listing. I/Russel will hopefully try to make most of the early matches be on a common console. Later on, it will be hard to avoid.
There will be plenty of sticks available. HOPEFULLY others aren’t too picky about letting someone use their stick. I also hope no one is too bitter about not being able to use their stick because the PS3(s)/360(s) were taken up. Please be prepared to be using a stick that you haven’t used before.
There is food/drink/etc places all walking distance. IF YOU ARE LEAVING PLEASE TELL ME OR RUSSEL!!! Tracking people down and delaying matches because someone wasn’t there is the most annoying thing when running tournaments. Just let us know and we will let you know if you have time before your next match.

I just might be able to bring my LCD monitor for the PS3, but the catch is that when I have to leave, so does the monior. And about 2-3 people may come with me.
The PS3 I probably won’t bring it, but the LCD I just need to find a bag for it (that won’t damage it :).

We will likely start the SC4 Tournament (@ 230PM) with 3 TVs, with the Other 2 Tvs going to SF4 casuals. At about ***3-330PM ***we will start the SF4 tournament.
Once we are down to the Final 8 in SC4 (at about 4PM) I will switch my PS3 to SF4.
