Technically what is a fob??
Are u a fob if u were not born in Canada? or, you are a fob if u chose not to speak English even though u know how to?
So if a Canadian born Chinaman likes to act fobby, dress fobby, do fobby things… is he more fobby than someone who just moved here but have no choice but to be fobby since A. he cant speak English very well for obvious reasons or B. he doesnt have speak english since the Chinese communities here are so large that he can easily get by without being able to speak English?
So do I consider myself a fob? well, I wasnt born here, so technically that makes me a fob, but do I try to fit myself into the Canadian culture? U bet I do, not that I threw away everything Chinese about me, but because of my special circumstances I get the best of both worlds.
