hey Marc, when you loosened that tight joystick, what lubricant did you use, and to which component(s) of the stick did you apply it? did it require disassembly? thanks.
i just used the fooseball lube. i don’t suggest wd-40, b/c in the long run, it could fuck up ur stick
you don’t need to disassemble it though, just lift the black plastic covering, spray , and dry off w/ a cloth.
but i don’t suggest buying the lub. just bring ur stick to orbit, ask the staff if you could use the lube there.
you shouldn’t waste your money on 2 sprays, cuz that’s all u’ll really need man
the only thing is, i’m not sure if it’ll work the same as the arcade. because even though they use the same switches, they’re assemble differently. most home sticks have the switches screwed in seperatly, while the arcade sticks have the switches all screwed into one peice. but just try that out. if it doesn’t work, next time you go to orbit w/ ur stick, just ask the staff there to call me and if im not busy, i’ll drop by and help you out man
