Anyway I’m sorry if the write up is terrible, sometimes its just hard to do both watching and thinking what to write.
Daigo vs RF (3-1)
1st Match: 0-2
1R: RF lost a lot of grey health(from absorbin fireballs) because of a trade, daigo managed to take the lead but missed a shoryu after a f.hp lol… both had little health and RF landed a jump in HK over an ex FB.

2nd Match: 2-0

Close rounds that could go either way. RF still manage to land a number of jump in HK.
4th Match: 2-0
1R: Daigo took this comfortably.
2R: Daigo controlled most of the match. Daigo also did, I’m not sure how to say this but fuzzy guard setup? Jump in attack, immediate jump back J.HK that hit RF who (I assume) tried to crouch. Finished RF off with air tatsu into super.
I knew about jump back j.hp but it’s interesting that j.hk works as well.
no way. write ups are on point. keep em coming pls

Fuudo vs Haitani (1-3)
1st Match: 0-2
1R: First 20 secs of both players just slugging it out. Pace slowed down for a bit, then Haitani did a dash in ex Karakusa into U1. Followed by a jump in MK that wasnt blocked.
2R: Pace was too fast, I was writing the first round write up while trying to keep up. Haitani did do quite a few charged hayate for god knows what reason(the commentators were like, why did he do thattt??).
2nd Match:2-1
1R: Start! Dash in karakusa. 85secs and Fuudos down to 20% ish. Fuudo then got Haitani in the corner and dealt good damage, not allowing haitani to escape. But haitani landed a tsurugi into U1 ftw.

3R: Haitani made some bad decisions up close, but in the end he landed a tsurugi and dashed in ex karakusa U1 ftw.
4th Match: 1-2
1R: Fuudo kept Haitani in the corner. Landing quite a number of chicken wing on makoto wake up. I’m guessing LK chicken wing, makoto got hit by a lot of this on wakeup somehow.
2R: Haitani got this.
3R: Fuudo almost got stunned but managed to blocked properly and escaped. Also managed to backdash from a dash in ex karakusa. But Haitani still got in a dash in normal karakusa and ultra ftw.

4th Match: 2-1
1R: Daigo did two JDI HP SRK aka ume shoryu… pretty early in the round…, both were blocked and punished deservingly. Momochi’s super aggressive despite a good life lead and almost lost the match but he did a zonk fadc into throw to take the round.
2R: Momochi down to a pixel and did a reversal ultra expectin daigo to try and throw, daigo did something but ate the ultra airborne for a few hits and… yup you guessed it, HP SRK ftw.

Thats all for tonight!
Theres still tomorrow and the next day.
Too bad Shiro is working outstation in Hawaii at the moment.
I prefer his match breakdowns, post rounds and post matches – droppin that gold knowledge. I could probably translate that and people can learn something extra about the game.
edit: not really working but a company outing/holiday… lol… he said he will be back saturday night, sunday plans to enter nationals quals and later might appear as commentator on topanga.
Thanks a lot for this HFX.
Didn’t even know this was possible now.
