I think I played a few of you guys yesterday… GGs to you guys.

So here’s my question:

How many of you actually know what you’re doing? Like… not playing by feel, and shit. Whenever I play anybody online, outside of the top guys (Tatsu, Wolfkrone, etc), it just seems like niggas are freestyling the whole time. Players don’t really know what they can punish, and what they can’t… they have these completely nonsensical tactics (that see heightened success due to an unpredictability granted by the stupidity of the idea in the first place, combined with online play making it harder to punish), and it’s a real chore.

I’m actually interested in playing some sessions with people, but I’m not interested in playing anybody that makes me have to figure out what kind of dumb shit they’re on so I can beat them… I get enough of that offline. I’m trying to get some actually decent match-up experience, if that’s possible.

I think what kills me in SFIV is the difference in block/hit stun.

I play SFII mostly, where the two were identical except for jump attacks.

Last I played IV, i played opponents who left after beating me once. Kind of makes it hard to learn and understand the game if your opponents won’t stay.

But that’s not even what I’m going on about. I’m looking for players that actually have technical knowledge of the game. The problem with most people is that they don’t know shit about how their character works… let alone how their character interacts with the others in the game, so the mindgames can only be so good anyway.
