That’s different, what I’m talking about is doing an hcf without standing up.
I’ve switched to (ps3) pad from stick to play this game now. Thumbs tips start to hurt a bit in practice mode for specific combo practice but other than that it’s helping slow down my input speed.
I think a patch is well needed for the the way they read inputs I play tekken and street fighter am doing 1,2 (String) into (move)QCB 3 and the QCB2 comes out if I do the move fast even if I didn’t hit extra inputs delaying the move to last as possible and hitting the 3 with the back at the end of QCB works the best the mk d,b motions work better then the sf QCB motions not odd but a mash and a just frame should be different on how the game reads it.
You’re probably getting 1,2, DB(release 2), with Release Check (aka Negative Edge) on.
Japanese sticks are so sensitive, it has messed me up several times, especially when doing a b,d or d,b,f command. I’m using Release check and regular controls.
What are the benefits of release check in this game? They’re clear-cut in other games, it just seems odd since the inputs for combos are fast. I might not be used to it in this engine yet.
