Seeding is not based on earnings, it just so happens that the larger the tournament, the bigger the pot.

You can make the event private and the results will have no effect on player rankings, or you can just use the team names.

It’s working. When adding players to a tournament, click the “Add Player” button. A drop down box will appear below it that says “Select a Player”. Type a small part of the players name that you want to add and wait for the box to populate with matches in the system. If you see the player you want, select it and click “Add Selected Player”. Otherwise, click “Create New Player”, enter the required information, and click “Insert”.

I don’t think it does round robins right now. This would be an excellent feature to add! I would have loved to have it for the last cbus bar battle. We ran a few tournaments on the side that had to be done by hand because they were small.

So you can now add late players to the bracket without starting over?

Of course not. That invalidates the integrity of a seeded tournament. If someone is going to be late, they should call ahead.

Tonamento is great.

As long as both the players and the organizers are infallible.
This is more applicable for majors like Evo, where you sign up ahead of time and there’s no such thing as a “Late Entry”.

People are given too much leniency in the current culture, which is why tournaments run twice as long as they should. We’re wasting our lives away! If people want to be in the tournament but know they will be late (within reason), call ahead. In no other organized sport that I’m aware of are you even given that courtesy. Why is it so widely accepted that people can show up an hour after start time and be ok? It’s a disease. All you have to do is create an environment where it can’t survive and it will be eradicated.

Yeah I thought that might be a problem. You could just create the options without including those tournaments in the rating system for now. You can always add them in later.

Used tonamento for the first time, cant believe how easy it was I just wish there was a way to create “private rankings” if you just want to have your own local player rankings in your private tournaments.

How do you remove phone numbers from player entries? I can’t figure it out…

I think I’m gonna keep my number up there, but it would be nice to know for someone who needs the service removed.
