I’m quitting MvC2 because
- I haven’t had fun playing the game in years
- Nothing new has happened in the game in years
- The game is garbage
- It’s the most control-intensive game in history and I’m sick of losing to players solely because something doesn’t block or a fucking viper beam won’t come out (like I don’t know how to do a viper beam after playing the game since 2000)
- Comp has died in CT so unlike previously, I have no opportunities to play it and stay on top of my game anymore
- There are too many ridiculous scrubs who play it and random people out, it’s super-frustrating
- The game is garbage
- Every time I play it I get pissed off and it’s not worth it anymore. The only exception was at Texas Showdown this year but besides that, I haven’t had fun playing since 2003

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. A lot has been going on in the background that has kept me and the rest of the staff busy. I wanted to check in to let everyone know what’s going on at TGA.
I’m happy to tell everyone that we ripped down two walls in the fighting game room, we now have much more space. The final wall will be ripped down by the end of the year, which will pretty much triple the space. I appreciate everyone’s patience and support. You guys made all this possible and I promise we will do everything to make TGA better each time you guys make it down.
We got our restaurant license finally. We should have food available by the end of the year, we still have a few loose ends to tie up.
If anyone cares about bowling, our electronic scoring will be in before Thanksgiving. We are also ripping out all the old bowling benches and putting in lounge couches.
On the fighting game furniture side, we are getting Japanese style seating for our cabinets, which will measure 18 inches high and we will also have 17 inch seating available for taller people.
We will be getting 2 more sets of Versus cabs, with MBAC ver B joining the lineup in December.
I just wanted to let everyone know what’s been going on in the background and let you know why I haven’t been able to post as often as I’d like to, but have no fear, Q will be making an appearance in the 3S tournament again!!
And, saving the best for last… Chie will be returning from Japan for good, as full fledged American! She wanted to be here for the Ranking battle to see everyone again, so we rushed to get everything finalized. She sends her best to everyone from Japan, sends her thanks for the support and looks forward to seeing everyone again.

Wow. TGA is now like, the one arcade in the USA worth going to, PERIOD.
Can’t wait to see the new layout, it was fine last time but just a little cramped, there will probably be lots of room now and I’m sure we’re gonna love it.
