I have a few things I’d like to get off my chest.
The first thing I’d like to get out into the open is that I have officially quit Team Hate. This means that unless the team challenge is renamed or reworked to be TGA vs. Canada, I do not want to be considered for any of the spots on the teams. For anyone asking reasons, you can just go to the Team Hate thread over in Atlantic North, it’s been out there in the open for days.
Second, although I haven’t actively played MvC2 in ages and I had “officially” retired, I have decided to come out of retirement in honor of Jiggabry and Gerjay coming down for this event. This will be a one-time-only thing. So look forward to meeting me in the singles event and getting beat up by the best MvC2 scrub in history.
Third, I’ve heard that CB has finally come out of his parents basement in Canada and apparently is GOOD at 3s. Well, I don’t buy it. I’m laying out the challenge straight to CB: Let’s play at TGA for $20. To make it even more interesting, let’s make it so we face each other first round in the 3s singles tournament and that will count as our money match. After ALL THAT TALK on the radio months ago, I want to see if you can really put your money where your mouth is…boy!
Finally, a personal note.
With how sick I have been over the past 2 weeks, with the changes I’ve made by quitting Team Hate, with other personal stuff going on right now, and with the New Year right around the corner, I’ve done a lot of thinking about the future and what’s in store. One thing that I’ve decided is I don’t need the weight of a team and that kind of responsibility on my back. And another thing I’ve decided is that although there are some things that have gotten out of hand, there are others that I still feel very strongly about, and I’m not going to back down. I’ve done a lot of self-seeking and I feel that the only way that I can really get to where I need to be is to go back to my roots…to go back to that time when I was fearless, when I would do anything for a laugh or to get a point across…or to get a much needed win. Regardless of what everyone else felt or thought was “acceptable” or “taboo” or anything else. In short, I think I’ve been too nice for far too long, and it’s time to start doing things MY WAY like back in the old days.
Come the new year, the era of the King of Hate moniker will be dead. And something more dangerous and powerful than ever will be in its place.

I know this is for me so im going to say that dont point the finger at me, ed or anybody cause it isnt my fault or anybody who made it to NEC. Me being low on money at the time depended on my friends for a ride which didnt work out. True im dissapointed for not going but more so with you, cb and Gavin for not giving us more info on the situation beforehand untill the very last minute especially since me and ed have been calling all week long prior. Ed even told me Gavin decided to call us right from the bus station. Its fine tho i learned my lesson and it wont happen again. which is why im letting ppl know now i cant make it to the TGA tourney. peace guys

What’s going on here? We’re driving what could amount to TEN HOURS for a ONE DAY event to an arcade that’s EXACTLY LIKE OUR’S and Team Hate’s two best players won’t even bother to play.
