Next tournament I will bring my JPS2+Slash since we have several pad warriors in the GG scene who can’t play stick yet. That is, if I can find an extra TV to put it on and Andy is ok with it. If I can bring that you should take up the bet!

It’s that mother-fucking annoying fucking button configuration that I can’t fucking work with. I really do hate it, it’s never once made me feel more comfortable when playing.
Really, I’m coming to this just for MB:AC.
Sidenote: I’m fairly sure you played a bunch of people from Rochester, especially if you played back in the GGXX/#R days at Orbit. Hell, I could have played you (not that you would remember that; I am teh suck at GG).

Nah, I tried practicing with the button configuration back for NEC 5, which is when I got my HRAP v1. I kept trying but my fingers just wouldn’t ‘click’ into place so to speak. It’s because I primarily use my index, middle, and ring finger to play, and NOT my thumb or my pinky, which is what GG calls for really, what with contouring to your hand all. Pay close attention to my hands when I play on pad next time, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
As for MB:AC, well I can play on that just fine with stick; oddly enough I have never had a problem with that, and even stranger, I’ve never sat down to practice it either, it just doesn’t present any problems for me.

I’m serious, Chibi. 3/5 in MB:AC for one (1) eggroll from Friend’s Garden (cash value: $1.75, plus tax). They only sell them in pairs, so I guess everyone is getting an eggroll anyway. Eggroll can be replaced with one (1) spring roll, five (5) fried wontons, or one (1) large fountain drink from TGA’s maid cafe (maid service not included).
