Yo, guys. First time posting here, but I’ve been around since the start of the thread checking this out. The stuff here was so good I went on and started getting into it. Some pretty solid shit I managed to find within the past few weeks…
Question; anyone know where I can find some programs to make characters, screenpacks and the files Mugen needs to work on? (you know DEF, CNS and that other stuff) Some site said I’m gonna need photoshop or something like that, but I wanted to know if anything else downloadable could help me out here.

I diddnt think it was possible to just upload a mugen like that. I thought you had to specialy configure it to each computer. But if people say it works, id be happy to upload mine if anyone knows a good free hosting site with no limit.

yeah, you can uplaod your mugen folder, i did it back in 04’, it works, after you use winrar or 7zip, itll cut that 2.5 gig down by a ALOT.
k i compressed it down to 1.4 gig. Anyone know where i can host it? All the free ones i know of have a 1 gig limit : ( this thing has like 200 stages and im not sure how many characters, im guess 300 maybe.
oo, i noticed the ogre akuma vs evil dan match had a remixed version of “fate stay/night” theme as bgm.
I’ll hit up Obot. He’s always complaining because he has unused bandwidth.

is this game A.I. controlled? or do you control the characters you make? im pretty intruiged
You can controll your characters just like any other fighting game. While Humans can do anything the Ai does, we prety much let the ai fight in these videos, since they are already badass. Mugen has the best ai of any fighting game ever…even virtua fighter 4

Watchin that makes me wonder what would happen if the guys here were to make a Mugen (in the interest of things not bein too broken). Like havin a game like MVC1 with just SF characters. It would probably turn out well. We’d need some sprite artist to help out but the backgrounds and bgms are already made. I don’t think enough people would come together to make it work though…
well, I have almost all of the CVS2 Characters, most of them are 100% accurate, I also have most of the CVS2 Stages and thier authentic BGMS(I ahve the OST) , so as far as making a accurate custom game like…Capcom vs DBZ or something to that nature, it is possible, since I have alot of accurate capcom characters. but it would be nice if we can get some coders and artists in here to make a custom screenpack, but I agree, I doubt we will get that kind of commitment, it owuld be nice to make a game to represent shoyuken.com.

Wasn’t takin about a Capcom Vs anything. I just meant puttin all the SFA3 characters in a ‘hyper’ fighter. So someone would need to be able to add ‘energy’ (like the differences in how Cammy’s cannon drill looks on XVsSf in comparison to SFA3) to how moves look, and then people to figure out how moves would translate to a hyper fighter. It would be cool seein how Sagat would turn out. I can imagine Sagat’s Tiger Cannon bein like Doom’s super (QCF+2p).
I would be interested in working on custom graphics and sprites. Some of my favorite characters include Strider Hien, Thor, and Wonder Woman.

This fist one is what Mugen was like in the beggining.
And this one is a cycle though of the characters i have. Its for people like Ken34 who may already have mugen, and are wondering if theres enough new stuff to make it worth the download. Theres 500+ characters, some are repeats, but still quite unique. Bur i would imigine most of the filesize is due to the 200 stages, and thus the 200 Mp3’s.
