I’ve known this guy ever since we were little. We used to go fishing and swimming in the lake behind his house, stay up all night playing X-Men on the Genesis, and his father would make us do pushups every morning when I stayed over. This guy also taught me how to play Magic: The Gathering, introduced me to Daggerfall, and kept me from being bored to tears on many an occasion.
He was also even more of a stubborn asshole than I am (and that’s saying something). We had a falling out when we were in the marching band together in college, and I just never cared to see him again after that. That was twelve years ago. I’m told he dropped out of school, went and joined the military to piss his dad off, and then knocked up a stripper. Supposedly he then became a really awesome guy, getting promoted to Sgt, and managing to raise his son alone. But, he got injured on base in Germany, and during the medical exams they found out he had cancer and was honorably discharged. He was visiting his family in our hometown, and died peacefully in his sleep Sunday morning. His 17-yr old sister is the one most upset by it, and she’s giving the eulogy tomorrow morning.
We got in a lot of fights, but all in all I’m really gonna miss him.
That is so sad and a fine example of how we should never take 1 day for granted. I’m glad he didn’t suffer. It is a shame that you all couldn’t work out your differences, but I am sure that you had your reasons. I understand that there are situations that it is best to just walk away from. I have family that I have done that with.

I think that tier list is a bit outdated and I saw some more recent stuff about a year or two ago. I don’t remember exactly why Nagare is so good besides he can combo into, and out of, supers really easily, lengthy damaging combos, and has some abusable specials. General was doing some pretty nasty stuff with him when we played years back and at Wolfchase Tilt. He ran Nagare/Yurika/Zaki and I used to think that was the MSP of the fucking game lol.
