So i am on the fence about dual modding or getting a new stick as i have stated before. I have heard horror stories of modding your stick and having to have constant maintenance work done to it. Is this true? Am i better off trying to sell my second 360 TE to get a PS3 TE?

Akuma sucks ass in AE. I’m dropping him because of tatsu nerf. He’s ruined 4evr. Thanks Crapcom.
Oni is sick as hell. He seems like he is very normals based, which all seem to have good hitboxes and interesting properties on hit, and look cool. He can’t combo much other than like, jab jab jab ex tatsu and strong-strong tatsu. His damage is pretty ass, and he can’t get a full animation ultra easily. He doesn’t even remotely play like Akuma. I feel like he’s going to be pretty decent right now, but if he just had like… air fireballs he’d be absolutely amazing. I doubt I’d switch to him, even if he’s really good. I’m spoiled with the crazy walk speed, air fireballs, sweep, roundhouse, vortex and teleport of regular Akuma.
Obviously, this is just scrub impressions of Oni, playing him 5 minutes. His dive punch move seems kinda junky, and I hope it turns out to be good. His dashing slash move seems kinda cool but JFord was blocking it by like… second time I played him, and they are fairly unsafe. Decent reward for landing one, though.
Also, people were saying his MP air teleport was an up teleport, but its actually a downward attack than sort of, propels him upward. Someone mess with it. You have to get right above their head and do it, and its really awkward and doesn’t seem to have any follow ups… And if not I can’t see it being any good at all.
Ducky, are you bringing your Wii? I ordered a new ps2 to wii adaptor ( PS2 Controller Joypad to Wii Adapter Converter Cable - eBay (item 270595817815 end time Feb-13-11 20:20:22 PST) ) that works with the wii controller and I’m bringing Snk vs Capcom 2 to office Tourney. If you do , dont forget the controller. 8)

Guys, I will be bring my Kickboxing fight pad ( Simular to a dance pad but for fighting games like tekken) to Office Tourney and I want to know if any of you are bring Tekken 5 to the event. I have been trying to find a copy, but just in case can any of you bring a copy to the event and fight night this Wednsday to test it out. It’s just like any other piece of electronic equipment. Some go bad, most don’t. I’ve got one modded stick that needed maintenance after a few months, but I’ve got two more that haven’t had any problems after nearly a year. I’ve worked on over two dozen sticks in the past year for other people, and only two had a problem (one turned out to be MadCatz which meant it would have gone bad anyway and the other was just a wire that came loose from a button, which happens normally). Besides, how many 360s have you heard about going bad in the past few months?
Adding to duckie’s post: I’ve got a dual mod he did for me about 8 months ago that hasn’t had a single problem. And it’s even been slammed to the floor because I had to slam on my brakes to prevent rear ending somebody.
Ok so project justice has been added to the tournament list so for those of you who are indeed interested in entering please go pre reg so we can get a head count of who all is playing. I’m bringing a dc set up with the game so that gives us 1 full set up,if someone has another set up please bring it if not then we just gotta do it with one tv only but the matches go by fairly quick so i don’t think it’ll be much of a problem.
Btw, for those of you who are making plans about bringing other systems with games that are not mentioned as part of the tourney please keep in mind that if you do bring it you need to provide your own full set up for it and it cannot conflict with the other games that are being held. Remember this is a 1 day event only so we have to finish that day and we need all the set ups we can to ensure the tournament runs smooth and everyone is able to get casual/money matches in as well.
For modded sticks I have two of them I have had almost no issues
-Modded SE that works with many systems. Only issue was a faulty connector to the stick which has been fixed without any issue
-Modded TE Rd1 that is just a dual mod. Had no issues and I have had it probably 9 months
So they went with Galactus as the finAl boss?
I would have preferred D. Phoenix,instead of a playable char. I like the Level. 3 instant kill ultra
