I’ve been telling everyone I know to play Nier. It’s basically Legend of Zelda for adults. Negro Justice is still trying to grab a copy (??) and Shawn’s been pretty happy with it so far iirc. It’s cheap and worth much more than the $30 new you can probably find it for.

I like puzzlequest 1 and 2 for games that are pretty laid back.
If you have a computer that was made over the last 6 or 7 years I’ve got a pretty good Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst server that I play on that’s got 5x experience and somewhat modified drop rates. It’s a good way to kill time while staying away from the fighting genre.
I’m a big MMO fan so I prefer the genre as an alternative to fighters and FPS’.

Guilty Gear is what marvel 3 WISHES it could play like. Id say the biggest reason people are comparing GG to MvC3 now is that it seems like individual character combos are starting to play a bigger part, now that the assists take longer to cooldown and the game is just overall a tad slower. I also kind of get a sense of SF style footsies when I play.
Its weird though, I wonder if this game really has what it takes to be opened up and filtered/condensed like 2 was.
