Also I keep forgetting to complain about my stick in public! I’ve been using Seimitsu buttons since I started playing SFIV Vanilla and only when I started playing Marvel 3 did I realize that these things actually make my fingers hurt. Gotta mash on these things compared to Sanwa buttons! There’s a LOT of resistance. I liked them more than Sanwas at first but now I’m thinking otherwise.
I tell people Seimitsu buttons are for people with manly hands who like crushing beer bottles with their fingertips.

For Saturday, March 4, does anyone want a PS3 preparation tourney at Game Galaxy before Final Round? I can also do a SFAE tournament that day and I can make it stupidly cheap…basically it would be like this:

PS3 SSF4 (2 systems)
2/3 rounds, 2/3 games
$5 entry (70/20/10 split) $3 COVER
IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS
SSF4 Arcade Edition Tournament-$8 (INCLUDES ALL DAY FREE PLAY and if you entered the SSF4 PS3 tournament it’s only $6)
We will have a replacement HD and Dongle for SSF4 Arcade Edition so there won’t be a freezing problem if it arrives on time this week.

Where to begin…
In my opinion, this tournament was of the best I have seen in Memphis. Thats all thanks to YOU guys! Thanks to all the fighting games fans that showed up for Memphis Office Battles! Without you, there is no scene, hype, competition, tournaments, MM’s, levelin’ up, grudge matches, rivalries, etc…etc…Again, thanks for the continued support!
I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. There were some very epic matches and upsets! The level of competition is greater than before and people are more hungry than ever to get to the top!
Looks as if nothing got stolen, brackets ran fine, the temperature was ok, casuals were good, etc…etc…any formal complaints, criticisms, or suggstions are welcome. please bring them to my attention as we are growing and tournaments are getting bigger!
First and foremost, I would like to give a special shout out to Squabb, Jas, and Eraser for the Venue prep. Thanks a ton guys! Much love (yes homo) to you fuckers and special thanks to Squabb for recording a shitload of matches.

I’m going to try and pump out the MVC tourneys and we have Blazblue on the last weekend of each month and SSF4 will probably be the beginning of the month or so…
It will be something like this:
1st Sat of month-SSF4, SSF4AE
2nd Sat of month-MVC3 or ?
3rd Sat of month-MVC3 or ?
last Sat of month-Blazblue and WTF else they want
Starting in April we will add MK9 to the list and we will probably award the winner a ticket to EVO or the crazy tourney that was blabbed about because there’s some goodness gracious craziness happening with that, but we’ll have 3-4 RANBATS and winner will get a ticket to tourney of their choice…
March 4 is on a Friday. March 5 is Saturday, same day as the Chattanooga tourney.
What are Game Galaxy’s hours on Sunday? Friend and I are going to see Clutch in Nashville - doesn’t start until 8pm though. We’re hoping to go early and finally see GG.
I won’t do a SSF4 PS3 tourney on Saturday if people are planning on going to Chattanooga that day. If no one is planning on going I will do one but I need to hear from the Nashville guys…
