What happened in MVC?
I think it went Shawn, Chris, Woot and Jacob then me, 10x and whoever else were in the semis.
I had to leave ASAP so I did not get to find out about MvC but Boom Cube was looking strong, Jacob had to leave but I think he would’ve given people a lot of trouble. Majin pulled out a team with Haggar out front (funny stuff), Shin Blade was playing well using an Avengers team, Woot was Zero’ing people to death, Cylus well being Cylus, Jas and Bishop looked good. One other guy who I’m almost certain is not on the forums is Cedric who is really good in MvC3 and SSF4 could pull it out. I saw some very strong play in MvC3 all around. Learning how to block is the key to that game. I was beating people way better than me just learning how to block properly. Can’t wait to see the results.
(Random prediction: in a month Flymike scares everyone with She Hulk!)
She-Hulk won our first tourney, I know Haggar has some weird stuff, I think Floe has some videos up with him…I’ll be back in town for a few days on March 3 then back up to Chicago again…I haven’t seen much of anything other than a hotel room, Xbox 360 controller, and computer for the past 2 weeks…
The guy who won that tournament (I feel bad I can’t remember his name but I did meet him when I went to GG) beat the hell out of me that Sunday, two days before the game came out. He had here BnB down packed from what I remember. Haggar has some weird cross up stuff with the pipe and that air grab that can reset the opponent but those are the only tricks he has that I’m aware of.
Ha, I’m surprised you are using pad, that tickles me for some reason. Do you ever have time to go enjoy the city?

Idk. I got 4wins. Played Pat and it went down to final match and I lost. I know we were both in top 8 before that and I had to leave so someone got a bye.
Outside of that I don’t know what happened.
Nashville wins 5v5. Memphis almost pulled it out. Pat won mvc3.

Chit: Not really, working 8-12 hours each day basically…I used to live in Chicago and went back and forth here for year but this time it’s close to NCAA tourney time anyway so I can enjoy basketball.
Also, for any MK post MK4 I have used pad…games have evolved speed wise where it is required…

I used to stay in Chicago also which is what made me think to ask. Speaking of NCAA basketball, Duke just lost. That was a weird game. Literally, no team is looking solid this year. Regarding the pad, what exactly do you mean? I’m not a stick player so what might seem basic to you guys is vague to me. I’m planning on trying to learn MK too so I’m very curious

I am very hype for FR now. I really think TN is going to cause some hell in every game this year. So glad I told the fiancee two months ago I was going to ATL that weekend so I don’t have to hear about that. Keep practicing guys!
So… can someone explain to me how one goes about changing arcade stick art? What am I supposed to print the image on? Can I do it at any old print shop? etc?
if your getting plexi over it, cardstock i believe. if not, lamilabel works best (i think). thats what i did mine on and its fine. The 24 hour kinkos near buffalo wild wings does a good job for that stuff, and its not to expensive.
ggs to everyone at the GG tournament today. fun stuff, modok is a weirdass. As soon as I got home I started working on blocking/zoning more, and trying not to just bust out some light attacks, as well as figuring out more stuff with dante. I feel like out of his 40 moves, I use like 5 of them.
I had a bunch of school shit come up at the last minute, hate that I missed the GG BB MVC TNMNT SMH LOL. I keep playing casuals with a few people in Marvel and feel like I’m getting rid of bad habits, but I’m definitely hitting a wall with Spencer. Arthur’s Fire Bottle for an OTG isn’t working like I would like it to.
edit: nevermind, just found out i’ve been using spencer wrong all along welp lol. well okay not really but he has some obvious tools that i haven’t been taking advantage of at all. time to get on it.

Chit: Lots of dashing involved in post MK4stuff, and without it you can’t do a lot of juggles…sort of like the utilization of Tekken on pad…
Well I was thinking of trying to get a new plexiglass thing to cover the LB/RB buttons that I never use. That way it’s a 6 button rather than 8. But I don’t know what exactly I need to order, and shit. Total scrub @ the arcade modding over here

Yea Eddie took Jacobs place in the 5v5. I think he beat woot in the first set.
First set from my memory. I heat Cylus and lycan then lost to eraser. Josh beat eraser and 10x and Eddie beat woot.
Set 2. I don’t remember. We lost this set. It’s 3am someone fill in the details for me.
Set 3. I beat woot lycan and 10x. Cylus beat me. Cylus beat josh. Cylus beat Eddie. Pat beat Cylus then eraser.
Thread title pretty much describes me. I have no idea, two weeks later, what I’m doing with MvC3.
