I’m a bit rusty on the classic attack terms. Fierce is hp, right? Do you use that fireball due to the hp attack proceeding it, or does it offer additional effects like longer hitstun time or more recovery frames to cancel out of?
There is no difference. Just use HP. The only difference is the speed the fireball travels once it comes out, so if you are canceling it from some long range normal (like c.mk) then you might need HP for the extra speed to help it connect, but with a close normal, it shouldn’t matter. Just always use HP.

Yea ranbats will be hella fun and a must at this point. I agree with woot, marvel would look something like that for the most part especially with woot zay and now myself (thanks to the new stick) taking the game more serious than most but we still have a few candidates worthy of top 8 in ranbats. James, shawnobi, rukus, to name a few. Now with more peeps picking up marvel I think the turnout overall will be good and it will help everyone (especially newer players) to level up more rapidly.
Personally I think a 2v2 marvel ranbat would benefit even more. Reason I say it is because you can have the best players in this city for example, team up with upcomers to help balance the teams out somewhat and to offer guidance, training and teamwork.
So basically:
Myself
Woot
Zay
Bishop
James
Rukus
For example would team up with players less familiar with the game so that teams wont be so overwhelming and it would give everyone a chance to be on a team that could possibly win the season.
Now say we do that I will personally guarantee some sort of reward for the winning team at the end of the ranbat season.

I think that would work if the trainee were always on point for the matches, otherwise they would just get bodied by the veteran and just be like WTF, whereas they could play an actual match on their level and then have a shot at the veteran.
I don’t think it’s a bad idea, and might make for some hype underdog fights.

As for the matches i think obviously the trainee on the team should always go first regardless because the main purpose of the 2v2 is to help train weaker players and build good teamwork and potential upsets also lol
