First Lee and Waid were never on Ultimate FF. Waid had a very good run on the regular FF but never on UFF. And I think Lee only did on UFF Annual with Millar. But UFF is a good book, Carey and Millar’s runs are the best of the lot.

I’ll start with the new Bill Willingham and Matthew Sturgis (of the glorious Fables and Jack of Fables, respectively) re-start of the horror anthology series House of Mystery. 5 people are stuck in Cain’s House of Mystery (from Sandman) and to pass the time, they serve drinks to passing visitors. In exchange for drinks, they visitor’s tell stories so each issue follows the larger arc as well as a mini one-shot horror story. It’s only 3 issues in and it’s fantastic so far. VERTIGO.
**Mark Millar’s Kick Ass ** is only 3 issues in but it’s also great. Normal kid wants to put on a costume and fight crime… and realizes how absurdly tough it is.
Terrry Moore’s Echo! The guy’s done with his fantastic run on Strangers in Paradise and started this sci fi story. 4 issues in, great art, powerful character development.
