For those waiting for a price drop, I’m pretty sure you can STILL get it off Mexico’s Origin for 40 bucks, or 499 pesos lol. That’s what I did, this is PC gaming people fuck paying 60 bucks for a new game. There’s ALWAYS another way.

So i actually like how the campaign plays out via multiplayer. What i think would be great is if they allowed you to choose a faction, and keep track of which faction wins the campaign most often. From there, they could craft the narrative to fit the faction with the most victories. I think it’d be a cool spin on creating the story for future games/DLC.

i am sad this game hasn’t gotten much traction, i think its because people dont know how to play it right. many people still think this game is call of duty

i stream this game occasionally and play with friends and can show you how to really play

check out the video below to see what i mean. i generally play defense so it might not be the most heart pounding video 100% of the time(i’d love for my capper friends to stream) but you get the general idea

i’d rather go 10-30 with 5 flag returns and win 6-0 then 30-0 and lose. the flag play is whats exciting about titanfall

anyway i had played the pc version beforehand.

turns out the 360 version aint bad at all. of course the frame rate is slower and the textures remind me of that riddick game, but if you can look past that, it has the same stuff as the big boy versions. i took a chance and im shocked

Yeah, been hearing great things about the Xbox 360 version. Will probably pick it up. Someone should update the thread title with Xbox 360 ver is out and it’s good or along those lines lol.

360 version is solid. The only real difference is that trees might have better looking foliage in the other versions. Good for you man. I been playing it nonstop. Atlus is god tier. just had 15 pilot kills, 6 titan kills, and no deaths.

I also dont see the “supposedly” slower frame rate. Seems like 60 to me. Nah fuck that, I will say that this is 60

I think BluePoint Games said it wasn’t running at 60fps, but was above 30fps somewhere. They were also the same studio that did the Metal Gear HD and Zone of Enders HD ports. They good at ports

Silly Tactics to try out, mentioned some in the VGD thread, but better here:

Satchel Charges+Explosives Pack Kit: Get’s 1 extra satchel charge, drop all 3 on full shield full health Titan and fire them off for massive damage
Also does good damage on dropships.

Satchel charges don’t hurt your Titan, so you can toss one your Titan’s back and jump out quick detonate if someone rodeos you. Or just toss one up if you get rodeoed and blow it instantly instead of trying to aim and fire at people.

Arc Mines…with explosive packs. When the evac ship is coming, place around the evac point…then laugh.

Smart Pistol with enhanced targeting and Run N Gun kit is awesome, same with B3 Wingman pistol+Run and gun, or the shotty. Don’t have to stop sprinting to fire. Smart pistol really good for quick catch ups in Attrition, very efficient at taking out Grunts/Spectres

Satchel charges, place at CTF flags and fire as soon as flag gets grabbed, or at hardpoints. Also not a bad idea to toss a satchel charge at the flag or Hardpoints to stop someone from blowing you up if they have the same idea.

CTF, save your Titanfall, drop as you’re running in to get flag and jump right into it on your way out. Very difficult to stop unless they have Titans waiting for you.

If you’re forced to eject in a Titan battle, you get a single jump after you eject, so you can try to target the same Titan that did you in, and land on his back. Or satchel charge bombing on your way down is fun too : )
