Idk if Weasel Shot helps Ammy at all, but with Jam Session you can do multiple charged j.H attacks in sword stance.
I’ve been using the advice and I have to say; I do like how Sentinel compliments both characters a lot. They both get a good amount of utility out of him, and that really helps me. The only thing is…I really dislike Sentinel in general. He feels really awkward to control, and while I think he’s pretty strong, I personally just cannot get into a great pace using Sentinel. I’ll continue to practice and try to correct this, but I’m still looking for an anchor that I’m really comfortable with–someone who I won’t be so inclined to panic with.
So my questions are, is Task really not as effective as a beam/sentinel drone assist? Or rather, I get that he isn’t, but is he still a ‘good’ assist in any way, or does he provide very little in the way for lockdown and left-right teleport tricks? Could Hawkeye be somewhat more effective, or would his assist still suffer the same problems?
Who do you guys feel work best with Dante/Strider duo?
Taskmaster’s assist is still really fucking good. One of the reasons it was so heavily preferred in Vanilla was because of the crazy chip it did. I’m not positive how well it works lockdown, but as for rushdown and mix ups it is one of the best. Still though, if I picked anyone to finish that team it’d be Doom, maybe even Magneto with Disruptor.

I just can’t find the Right team synergy… Nini, where are you man, help ya boi out lol. I need a team to stick with and it must have Dante in it of course. I’m lacking team synergy .

well I like Dante, Vergil, and I’ve been seeing some nice stuff with wesker, but I’d rather not use him. I like Vergil but it’s hard to approach opponents for me. Basically if I did stick with Vergil, I can’t decide on a third character.
Well in that order, Wesker is the best sadly. Sentinel works too but nothing like Wesker. Though I would advise Vergil up front instead of Dante, mainly because Dante doesn’t benefit as much from Vergil’s assist as Vergil does from Dantes, whether it’s Weasel, Jam or Crystal.

Pick Doom, Sentinel or Magnus. They make every team better.
Yeah I wouldn’t mind having magneto or doom as my third character. Maybe I’ll go with mag, but I gotta learn his stuff. What should the order be Dante/Vergil/Mag? and what assists?
The order really depends on how you want to play the team. I prefer Dante on point with any team I play, but that’s just me, but like many have said Vergil gets more out of Dante’s assist, than Dante gets out of Vergil’s. However, both can get a lot out of Magneto’s EM Disruptor, but I wouldn’t want to have him anchor. Either way you’d probably be best going:
Dante/Magneto/Vergil- This would be the route I’d go because with Dante on point you can abuse EM Disruptor for mix ups and keep away allowing you to put a bit of a hurting on their team and build some useful meter before Dante died, and after his death you’d get Magneto who’s insanely long combos build up more meter, and do more damage before he dies. By the time Vergil comes out, he should have a nice stack of meter to abuse for his mix ups, and DT should you choose to use it, and hopefully XF to make him absolutely destructive.

Vergil/Dante/Magneto- Dante and Magneto’s assists can really help Vergil get his mix ups going and take a good chunk of the opponent’s team, the only thing is that I feel like in this order Vergil would hog up all of the meter so that if something happened and he did die, Dante/Magneto would be coming in with no meter to help them really get anything started for a comeback. Ideally, Vergil just OCV’s via resets and what not, but the likelihood of that happening just isn’t very high. Personally, I think Magneto makes a better anchor than Dante because I feel like he has an easier time opening people up without assists than Dante does via tri-jumps and his slide.
Those would just be my picks, but I’m sure you could find a way to make something with Vergil second work as well, the only reason I wouldn’t go with that is simply because out of the three I say Vergil is the best anchor.

I just picked up Dante and have been working on a Vergil X23 Dante team but I’m not sure the synergy is really there for that team. I was wondering if anyone thought otherwise. I am also pretty good with Spiderman and Ryu but once again i wouldn’t really know how to get those teams to work together well. Does anyone have any suggestions?
So the deal is I want Dante and Vergil together with another character (That isn’t Wesker, Doom or Sentinel I’ve seen enough of those :P).
What type of playstyle do you like?
Sounds very similar to FF7Cloud’s predicament above… with all of those characters ruled out, looks like Magneto anchor?
My current (poorly theorycrafted team is) Dante/Jill/______ or Jill/Dante/______; who would work the best for anchor? (Besides Wesker or Doom, like Beastmode1990 above me, because I just don’t like them.) And… which assist should Dante have? (Is Crystal fast enough to use as an OTG move reliably in combos?)
